Chapter 1

The boys' first gig just ended. "I can't believe you actually got down on one knee." I laughed as the boys and I got into the van. "It was a proud moment don't shame Belle." Ashton said. "Yeah I know that but who gets down on one knee to invite someone to officially be in a band? Don't they usually just say. 'Hey wanna be in the band mate?'. Or something like that?" Michael giggled. "Hey! At least we invited him in, he's a little shabby but eh." Luke smiled as the van started.

Over the last couple weeks I've gotten really close to all the boys, which is surprising due to the fact that I am always yelling at them to do there homework or start band practice. The van was hot and felt cramped. The boys were all sweaty which didn't help much either. Guess I'm just going to have to get used to it.

The boys have grown a lot. Physically, mentally and emotionally. Yesterday the boys released their first single called 'Out of My Limit.' Which is amazing. It has been almost a year since I first met them and we're as close a can be. We were currently sitting around Calum's house. Ashton and Michael were sitting at the kitchen table on their phones, Calum was laying across the love seat while Luke and I were both on the couch our heads on opposite sides resting on the arms. Luke and I were currently in the middle of a debate on if penguins have teeth or not, which of course I knew I was right, when Ashton shot up from his chair screaming and laughing like a manic. Luke, Calum, and I shot up at the same time startled, but due to the fact that Luke and I's legs were all tangled up, we flopped to the ground with a thud. He landed on top of me knocking the wind out of me. "Oh shit sorry Annabelle." He breathed his cool breath hitting my neck. "No It's okay, it's my fault too." I giggled. He was about to get off me and stand up when he caught my eye.

I stared into his icy blue eyes, our chests pressed together. His eyes flickered between my eyes and my lips, when he slowly started closing the gap between our faces. He opened his mouth to say something but quickly closed it. My heart quickened, it was pounding so hard I thought my chest was going to explode. My eyes widened expecting my lips to meet his, when all  of a sudden he screams in my ear, "Penguins. Do. Not. Have. Teeth!" The giggling started again and my heart reluctantly slowed down. Part of me was relieved we didn't kiss while another was actually anticipating it. The only time we've ever actually kissed was just a small peck on New Years. "Yes they do now get off of me you hippo." He stood up offering me a hand up which I accepted. 

"What's all the commotion about anyway?" Luke  asked as we walked into the kitchen; the rest of the boys were huddling around someones phone. "Look!" Calum said shoving the phone in Luke's face. "Oh my god SICK!" Luke screamed his eyes glossing over. "First Louis now Niall?" He smiled widely. "What is it?" I asked glancing at Ashton. "Niall Horan from One Direction just tweeted a link to 'Out Of My Limit' and now the video has over 100,000 views!" Luke cheered happily. Doing a retarded little dance. "Really? That's sick. Oh my gosh that's actually so cool congrats to you guys!" I smiled happily.

"I think we should celebrate." Ashton said his smile widening. "We should totally go surfing." Luke suggested cooly. I rolled my eyes but unfortunately Luke noticed so he childishly stuck his tongue out at me pouting. "To much sand, and water, and sun." Michael groaned narrowing his eyes. "Yeah how about we go to the fair they're having downtown?" Ashton pitched in. "Ooh yes that would be so fun, We could borrow my moms car and drive out there, it's only like a 2 hour drive, and we could stay at a hotel." Calum added. "I'm down." I said throwing my hands in the air. "No one said you were invited." Ashton teased giggling. "Umm actually I did." Luke giggled throwing his arm lazily around my shoulders. "Hey Paws off my sister." Ashton said his tone not so giggly anymore. Luke chuckled. "You mean these paws?" He smirked moving his arm so it was around my waist. My cheeks flushed. "Yes those paws now keep 'em to yourself around Belle. I'm serious Hemmings." Ashton said his face growing stern. I glanced over at Calum and Michael who's faces were both red as they tried containing their laughter. My gaze flickered to Luke, who just cheekily winked at me as he tried to hold in his laughter. Which only caused me to laugh.
