Chapter 37

After a few weeks Yun was released from custody by the help of Daehyun. Since he was working on a case that included Block B, he had enough evidence to make sure Yuna was not going to pay off charges and serve prison time.

Block B was finally caught in act, and arrested for unknown reasons. Even Daehyun was surprised to find out that they were put in jail.

The year passed by, and Jungkook was still under a coma. His parents were contacted, and sued Hyungwon, who brought up to the court about his family.

The Jeon family was fined, but they couldn't go to jail because there was no physical evidence except for the audio of an old CCTV recording that only sounded the gun shots. Now it was Hyungwon getting the money.

Life moved on as Jungkook stayed still in that hospital room. Hyungwon decided to pay a little of the hospital bill, seeing that he was the one who cause Jungkook to be in a coma.

Yoongi, Jin, and Namjoon graduated high school. They all attended the same college, but majored in different classes. Jin wanted to become an actor, while Yoongi took classes on music appreciation, and Namjoon majored in financial business.

Irene, Hoseok, and Sowon were now in their fourth year in high school, which would be ending in a few months before they graduated.

Everyone lost hope in Jungkook waking up, but Jimin took it the hardest. Even though Jungkook and him fought over Yuna, they were as close as brothers.

Monsta X disappeared. They were no where to e found. Yuna even tried looked for #GUN but he was gone too.

Eunha and Taehyung became girlfriend and boyfriend. Taehyung clung to her, and relied on her. She was his stress reliever, and often cried to her about Jungkook. He couldn't even tell his best friend, Jimin, about his pain, because Jimin was now mute.

Jimin showed no emotion. He separated himself from everyone, becoming the outcast. His eyes were dead, and some even said that he was a dead man walking.

Yoongi and Irene's relationship became closer than ever, seeing as Irene was somewhat close to Jungkook, like an older sister. Just like Taehyung and Eunha, the two were inseparable. They relied on each other, and needed each other for their own comfort.

Hoseok had tried to best to stay happy, but when he got home, he looked at himself in the mirror, and grabbed out the bottle of prescription drugs that he was supposed to take every 12 hours, since he overworked himself to the point that he forgot was rest was.

Yun, she fell into depression. She visited Jungkook everyday, no matter what. She would stay in the chair, sitting as she stared at the wall, hoping he'd wake up. The only thing she had to live for was the heart beat displayed on the screen.

Life moved on, even through sadness, happiness, and anger. Time wouldn't stop, and so wouldn't the scar of losing a friend, a brother, and a lover.

"You know, you're the reason why he sang." Namjoon sat next to Yuna, as he stared at Jungkook's peaceful and resting face. Even though she was so close, she felt so far. "He always tried his best, he wanted to sing to you when he confessed. When he felt sad, he sang even though it was painful. He even told us that the reason he got better was because he sang for you."

Even with a still face, her eyes began to water as she choked on a sob. Namjoon brought her in a hug as she finally cried, as she finally let out her sadness. Crying out, as loud to make Jeon Jungkook, the man who couldn't be woken up, hear her grief.
