DAY 3JIMIN'S POV

I sighed as I looked at eomma's grocery list that she texted me. She needed to attend to court hearing because she was in the process of getting a divorce from dad.

"Oh! It's you!" A girl smiled at me.

Yerin.

I felt my heart pound. Her hair was tied up, and she was wearing a large sweater with leggings. She could work the lazy outfit.

"Oh, the freshman." I smiled, getting a bag of chips.

"Yah! I have a name, and it's Yerin! Jung Yerin!" She scolded me, and I laughed.

"Arasso, Jung Yerin ssi. You're buying groceries?"

"Mhm! My eomma is working right now, so I can't disturb her." Yerin told me, and I looked in her shopping cart. It was all junk food.

Chocolate chip cookies, fruit snacks, hot cheetos, gelato, chocolate bars, poptarts. You name it.

"Umm, that's junk food Yerin ssi, not food." I told her, and she rolled her eyes with a sigh.

"Food is food! It doesn't matter what it is! If I could consume it, it's food to me." Yerin scolded, once again.

Sheesh, what is she, some food instructor?

"Even if it's animals?" I asked, and she nodded, and I gagged. "Yah! You eat pork, chicken, beef, and fish! Don't gag at me!" She yelled, and she focused on something. I turned back, and saw it was a small box of biscuit cookies.

"Do you know how expensive junk food is?"

"I can pay for it!" She grinned. Well, let's hope so.

Later

I stood in line behind Yerin, all of our groceries on the moving thing. Never learned what it was called and I will will. Her jaw dropped, her groceries were $50, and she only had $30. I giggled, "See!"

"You jinxed it!!" She cried, and began to ask the cashier to put back her junk food. She had like a bag of green onions, kimchi, and bean sprouts. The rest were unhealthy food.

$36.

She whimpered like a sad puppy.

"Miss, the biscuits are the ones." The cashier said impatiently, the line beginning to get longer.

"Okay, okay! Put it back!" She cried, and the lady rolled her eyes. Her total came up to be $29.86. Wow. Yerin quickly paid and grabbed the bags. The lady quickly rang all my stuff, and I paid.

I jogged out of the store and caught up to Yerin. She was struggling, carrying two bags even though they barely had any stuff in it haha.

"Ah, sunbae, which way do you live?" Yerin asked me.

"By the convenience store by the freeway." I told her, "Me too! Let's walk together!" She smiled, and I nodded.

I had two grocery bags in each of my hands. Usually, I would asked Jaemyun for help, but he doing a project for school, and I didn't want to disturb him.

"By the way, thanks again for helping me this morning. The consequences are too much!" She complained, and I nodded.

I remember when the seven of us hard to do it because we came an hour late. We didn't know about the punishment, so we were surprised. It wasn't hard, but we were sweating really bad after, so the seven of us didn't like it. Especially Jin hyung.

"What middle school did you come from?" I asked Yerin, "I'm not from Seoul," She told me, "I went to a school in Incheon. It wasn't all that." She told me, and I nodded.

"Sunbae, you're a second year right?" She asked, "Yup. You're the same grade as our Jungkookie." I smiled fondly, but then scowled remembered this morning. "Oh, and drop the sunbae. You can just call me Jimin."

"Oppa?" She asked innocently, and I blushed. "What about it?"

"U-Uh.. Yeah, oppa is fine." I smiled, and she grinned back, her eyes almost squeezing shut. "Ah, oppa my house is over there." Yerin pointed to a small house that was like ten steps away.

"Do you need help?" I chuckled as she struggled to get the house keys from her pocket. She shook her head, stubborn. Then she sulked, "Help me, please?" She pouted, and I nodded with a light laugh. I grabbed the two light shopping bags as she opened the door, "Come in! I'll get you something as a thanks."

I nodded, and placed my bags down, and I followed her to the kitchen, "What would you like to drink?" She asked, as I placed down her bags on the counter.

"Water is fine."

I sat down a chair. I looked around, and her house was really small. I know I'm not used to it since Bangtan, Irene, and I have big houses because we're rich, but I kind of felt uncomfortable because it was soft of suffocating.

Yerin gave me a glass of water, which a bright smile. My mind eased a little bit. How could a family live in a house this small?

Her phone rang while she was putting away the groceries, "Eomma? What happened?

My head snapped over to her, "Ah... Okay, I'll buy McDonalds or something... Mhm, no I'm not sad!!... Arasso, so safe mommy. I love you!"

"What's wrong?" I asked her, "My eomma is doing overtime so I'm alone..." She pouted, and I noticed only two chairs tucked in the small table. I was sitting on one of them. So she didn't have a dad.

"Do you know how to cook?" I asked Yerin, and she shook her head.

"Nope! I'm gonna get McDonalds after you leave!" She grinned, but I could tell that she was upset.

"That's dangerous. Let's go together, I'll grab some fries." I took her, and one of her eyebrows raised.

"Alright! Let's go right now!" She grinned, "But you have your groceries.."

"Can I stuff it in your fridge?" I asked, and she nodded. "Let me grab a jacket first! Give me two minutes!" She ran away, and I grabbed my bags. I walked back into the kitchen, and opened the fridge. It was empty, and I felt bad for her.

Such a young girl, alone in this house with little food in it.

I closed the fridge,

"Oppa! I'm done!" I heard Yerin, who walked to the living room. She was wearing a black zip up that looked like mine.

"Nice..." She laughed, and I nodded. We walked out of her house, and she locked it. "There's two McDonalds nearby! Which one should we go to?"
