“Shall we consider it a date then, Mr. Rawat?” Sonali spoke, wiggling her brows as they waited for the automatic door to open up and stepped inside. She'd been too brave lately, flirting whenever she got a chance to even though both of them knew it was nothing more than just a futile attempt of keeping the awkwardness away.

“It’s a date.” He affirmed while his lips curled up secretly. It was weird how they'd been acting like they didn't know how to speak until a minute ago and now they were subtly flirting. It was pointless, he knew it and yet he still stealthily indulged with her. His eyes roamed around and they spotted an empty table only to be stopped midway by a staff member.

“Good evening, sir, ma'am.”

“A table for two, please.” Shaurya chipped when the service man came forward to guide them through. The restaurant was too crowded much to his dislike and he couldn't help but frown on being shown a table that was in the middle of a big hall.

“It’s okay.” As if she could tell what was going on inside of his head, Sonali whispered while giving a tug on his arm and pulled him along to take a seat. As much as she'd have appreciated the privacy and quiet in a private cabin, she was too hungry to even go back to the lift for the next floor.

“Is there any private room available for dining?”

“There certainly is, sir. Would you like me to guide you upstairs?”

“That’d be great.”

Much to her dismay though, Shaurya still asked the man for a cabin and also to take the order first. He really was going to keep it as date-ish as possible it seemed. So they sat there for barely a minute and then they were guided to another floor to a cabin with traditional Rajasthani style.

“The starters will be here shortly. Please ring the bell if you need anything else. I'll be right outside.” The table had already been arranged with a hot kettle with tea in it and a metal jug full of cold water.

“I like the aesthetics.” Sonali chipped looking around at the room. The false ceiling had traditional painted decorations on the corners while there were small mirrors embedded here and there on the wall. There was also a big lamp kept in the middle of the table as well as a few candle holders in different styles on either side of the room.

“Didn’t take you for a person with a taste of traditional aesthetics.” Shaurya spoke, eyeing the Chanel bag she'd kept to the chair beside. Sonali rolled her eyes and didn't bother answering his jibe. Instead she picked up the lemon that was kept in the salad plate by her left and squeezed it in her mouth.
