~✿✿~Soham Rawat was not at all the kind of personality she'd expected to meet. He was taller yet leaner than Shaurya in built. He had a charming smile on his face and he seemed much more relaxed and normal unlike his big brother.
"That old man is anything but charming." Sonali muttered under her breath.
Every cloud has its own boundary of floating. Soham really seemed like someone who had been kept away from the world his family lived in. Sonali couldn't help feeling envious for a moment when she thought about how different the life of the youngest daughter of the house could have been.
"Hi, Sonali! I've been looking forward to meeting you." Soham grinned forwarding his hand for a handshake, completely ignoring how cautious she looked when she stared at him doubtfully for exactly three seconds.
"Hello." Sonali smiled back as she held his firm hand, giving it a light shake. The guards who'd been following her and Sharmila were nowhere in sight at the moment. She wondered how confident this guy had to be in himself to send them so far away, but again, she'd never seen Shaurya walking around with any men other than Darshan behind him.
"How about you start addressing her properly? She might be younger in age but she's still going to be your elder brother's wife." Sharmila gave a sarcastic smile to her son who took away the bags from her and Sonali's hand.
"How about I call you mine? And you can call me yours." Soham winked with a flirty grin,"Why don't we swap me with Bhai instead? Isn't he too old to your liking?"
"You brat!" Sharmila's hands were faster than her mouth. Soham yelped on getting two slaps on his back. "I was kidding!"
Soham was rewarded with another two very much clearly audible slaps that were planted on his back. He was sure he had palm prints underneath the shirt. "Ain't I right though, bhabhi ma?"
"Just bhabhi would suffice." Sonali spoke immediately, too awkward and flustered by how quick she was to do that. It'd already taken her so much effort to start calling Sharmila 'mom'; the address of being called a mother was too precious to her. She couldn't let someone address with such a high honor so casually.
Moreover, Soham behaving so overly friendly made her feel too cautious.
"Okay, bhabhi it is then. I am more handsome than that old man of yours, am I not, bhabhi?" Soham flinched away from Sharmila's reach and walked slowly beside Sonali instead, who only chuckled lightly in response.
My old man. Sonali could only smile, snorting inside at how accurate his chosen words were.
How he was perceived he didn't care it seemed. Soham took the lead of guiding the ladies to the car and then he personally had decided to drive them around the city for the rest of the day. He carelessly looked around as the three of them talked about various important and unimportant things while going through one shop to another.
