Soham's perspective of looking at things was different than hers perhaps that's why her good intentions were assumed as badly. Even though it was probably in the heat of the moment and he'd apologized once the words that were spoken couldn't be taken back after all.

When it comes to the heart, feelings change mysteriously within a blink of eyes. Sonali felt incredibly soft as a marshmallow when the gorilla of a husband hugged her shoulders and kept her close all the way back to the bedroom. She was hurt yes but this was the first time in years of being lonely that she also felt like she's not alone anymore.

"You hit me." Shaurya said mechanically as they heard the door closing behind. She tried to get out of his hold only to get pulled back in a tighter clutch. Shaurya's aims were far different from what they'd become today.

His priorities had changed and so had his processing of doing things. Having Sonali enter his life had changed the course of his life in a way he'd never anticipated. Sonali had become fat more important than once upon a time how irrelevant her existence used to be.

The sense of joy and contentment he has been experiencing ever since he'd gotten married to this woman far surpassed the gloomy meaningless days he'd experienced in the past trying to find a person he'd carved who'd understand his ideologies and unsaid unnerved feelings without voicing them out like she does. Sonali was now someone he held too dear and near to his once indifferent heart that'd started beating louder than ever before.

"Did I really overstep my boundaries?" Sonali murmured in a voice as small as that of a bee. Shaurya squeezed her shoulder when they changed their way towards the stairs that lead to the terrace. "No, he did."

She has rarely been to the terrace in the time she has been living here and with Shaurya by her side this was probably one of those few times they've gone up for a leisure walk and discussion about this and that.

The weather was getting colder by every passing day. Winters were about to knock on the door and the chill she felt over her exposed skin made her shiver. She heard him chuckle and the hold around her tightened as they stood near the railing, looking at the brightly lit city lights gleaming in the stark darkness.

"I received the schedule for the next week. You have to go to the studio tomorrow for recording videos and get a photoshoot done. The promotion on social media will be handled by the team members and the vehicles and people who will be accompanying you to the campaign will be arranged within a few days." Shaurya had probably spoken too much, he went completely silent afterwards while Sonali barely gave any response, standing quietly by his side and letting the cold wind hit her in the face.
