Bella P.O.V

The sun shining through my window during the cold winter morning wakes me up from my slumber. I yawn, stretching in my position when I realize Edward's arms are wrapped around my waist. I smile at myself knowing this is my first Valentine's day with Edward. I have to admit, I'm kinda excited.

I turn around in bed and just look at him as he sleeps. He looks so young and calm while he's sleeping. It's my favorite thing to do when he sleeps over with me in my room. I smile at myself knowing that he's all mine.

"Are you watching me sleep again?" He murmured in a sexy sleepy voice.

"Yes."

"That's creepy."

"It's romantic."

He opens one eye first and then the other. His smile makes mine grow bigger. His arms tighten around me and pull me until our noses touch.

"Since when are you into romanticism?" He asked, closing his eyes again.

I shrug. "It is Valentine's day."

He opens his eyes again. "Oh, that reminds me." He reaches behind him and tells me to close my eyes. I do as I'm told and in the matter of seconds, the smell of a fresh rose is pressed against my rose.

I open my eyes to find him holding a beautiful rose right in front of my face. I smile widely, taking the rose from. It's little details like this that make me stay longer here. I take the rose and kiss him.

"Do you know that you're the perfect boyfriend?"

"Only because I have the perfect girlfriend," he replied, kissing me back.

I run my hands down the sides of his face. He hasn't shaved yet but I have to admit, that slight beard makes him look more manly and I love it but I also love it when he's freshly shaved. His thumbs rub my sides and the slight moment of peace is ruined when Emmett comes to the door.

"Come on, love birds, breakfast is ready!" He shouted over the closed door before running back downstairs.

I groan, burying my head back into the pillow. I'm far too comfortable to even get out of bed right now but Emmett has other plans. Why can't he just go bother his stupid girlfriend?

I'm not surprised Rosalie's little friendship with me didn't last very long. It wasn't long when we both realized that after all, we didn't really like each other. Rosalie minds her own business, I mind my own. Sometimes.

Over the past month, James has been busy trying to get Charlie out of the picture. He keeps me up to date and unfortunately from what I've heard, Charlie made it to have a case opened in court and has half the jury in his favor. James says that his act of a regretful and loving father is working and that he even has his other daughter who is older than me testify in his favor.

"I guess you'll have to pack soon," he joked one day while we talked on the phone.

"James, if he gets my custody I promise you that when you give me the news will be the last time you hear of me," I threaten him.

Neither Edward or his family know what's been going on with my case, as far as they know, there's just a little situation about my custody. The less they know, the better. I could really use some time without then reminding me or asking me about the case.

After breakfast, Edward and I walked around the backyard. I had my hand wrapped tightly around his arm as he guided me around the yard.

"I was planning on taking you somewhere," he said as we walked.
