I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it by The 1975
Beating Heart by Ellie Goulding
--------------------
He really loves me, I say to myself as I wait for Liam while laying on the perfectly-made bed. A few minutes go by and I start to get nervous. Liam feels the same way ... He actually wants me.
Two more minutes go by and I slide off the side of the bed and start pacing back and forth, unsure of what I should do, say or look before he returns. Is he just as nervous as me? Are we rushing into things? Maybe we are ... But a little fun can't hurt.
I smirk and decide to take off my pants and leave on my panties. I feel heat rushing up to my cheeks out of embarrassment and I giggle to myself out of the nervousness that I can't seem to shake off. I hear footsteps outside the room and I throw myself back onto the bed, and I toss my pants to the side not caring where they ended up landing.
I hear someone sigh on the other side of the door before the door knob turns and Liam walks in. His eyes grow wide as they take in my appearance, slowly raking from the bottom of my body and lastly meeting with my eyes. He closes the door behind him and locks it before turning back to me, his eyes never leaving mine as he makes his way to the end of the bed. Behind those beautiful, light brown eyes is want, lust ... And love. He loves me.
He stands at the end of the mattress, without saying a single word, just staring down at me and I can't help but wonder what Liam could possibly be thinking.
Goosebumps cover the surface of my skin as he comes over to my side of the bed. He looks away as he sits down next to me, his legs dangling off the side to take off his shoes, and I position myself onto my side, leaning on my elbow to look up and observe him.
He is wearing a white, short sleeved top, which displays his muscular arms and tattoos fittingly, his muscles flexing as he bends over to untie the shoelaces. I move my gaze up to his face; he looks relaxed and calm, and I smile to myself. I get the feeling he knows I am checking him out when I see a smirk appear on his face and he turns his attention on me.
When he finishes removing both of his sneakers, he gently cups the left side of my face with his hand, his thumb rubbing my cheek soothingly. I smile up at him and he leans down to lightly press his lips to mine. All too soon, Liam pulls away so that our foreheads are touching and we are staring into each other's eyes. I pull away from him to move to the right of the mattress so that he can join me on the bed and he takes advantage of the open space I've provided.
He lays on his side, too, and wraps one of his arms around me to pull me to him. I place my hands against his chest and I can feel the rapid beating of his heart. Is that because of me?
"Do you know what you are doing to me right now, looking like that?" he whispers. He unwraps the arm he has around me to place his hand on my bare thigh. His fingertips tickle my skin as he brings his hand to the back of my knee then pulls my leg to his own so that our legs tangle together.
"I don't think I know what you are talking about," I say innocently and bite my lip, now knowing that drives him insane.
"Oh, I think you do," he says in my ear and his breath tickles my ear, sending a chill down my spine.
I am too distracted by his lips against my skin for me to try to deny that I know exactly what I'm doing to him. "I thought so," he whispers.
His free hand runs down the side of my body so smoothly and teasingly, and it suddenly feels like my whole body is heating up, but then it stops at the hem of my shirt. My breath hitches as his fingers gently grab onto the fabric and then slowly drags it up.
