I wake up in Liam's strong hold on me, making me giggle silently. We didn't do anything except for kiss a few times, but that was all.

"Because you're my woman."

I turn my head to look at Liam who is still fast asleep and snoring lightly. I hadn't realized that I was gripping onto his arms that were wrapped around my body, and I take this opportunity to get a closer look at the tattoos on his forearms.

On his right forearm, I didn't notice this before, but there is a bandage around it, covering the chevron tattoos. I'll ask him what happened later. On the outside of his wrist is a tattoo that says Only time will tell...

I move slightly, not wanting to wake Liam up, so I could get a better look on the inside of his forearm. Almost immediately there is another tattoo in script handwriting that says Somewhere is a place that nobody knows. Does he mean the safe house? Below are four Egyptian Hieroglyphics and I raise my eyebrows. I didn't know he could read hieroglyphs ... And just below the hieroglyphs is the feather tattoo with words underneath, but the bandage covers most of it, and I sigh.

Liam slowly removes his arm from around my waist and yawns loudly. "Good morning, love." I turn to look at him again, and he's smiling at me while stretching. "Did you sleep well?" he asks and I nod. "I did, too."

"Do you know what time it is?" I ask him and he turns around to reach for the unfamiliar device from last night before he went downstairs to meet the rest of the boys.

He picks it up and puts it down quickly. "It's almost noon," he says.

"So what's going on for today?"

He runs his hands over his face. "For you and Valerie, nothing. For the boys and myself, we have a busy day. I'll be making a few calls and getting a few things planned with everyone. The two of you have nothing to worry about."

How can he say that? "There is plenty to worry about, Liam."

"I didn't mean it like that," he says. "I'm sorry. There's just a lot of planning to do."

I nod and look away from him. "I need to call my parents," I say quietly.

I see Liam shaking his head from the corner of my eye. "No. Absolutely not," he says sternly.

"I have to, Liam! They must be wondering why I haven't contacted them!" I raise my voice. Thank goodness the door is closed. "This isn't fair and you know it."

He groans and turns away from me to get up on his side of the bed. He runs his right hand over his short hair that is slowly growing and looks at me with pleading eyes. "Alright," he says, handing me his high-tech device, and I get up, sitting cross-legged. "But make it quick." He goes into the bathroom, closing the door behind him.

"This is a phone?" I joke and hear him laugh from behind the closed door. "Um, Liam ..."

"Yes?"

"What do I say to them?" I ask nervously.

"Anything you want," he says nonchalantly.

"Sure, I'll just say, 'Hey Mom and Dad! So far the semester is pretty good. My professors like me too, I think. But I won't be able to finish on time because I met a few boys that happen to be involved in a drug cartel. Oh, and you remember Thomas Berkshire, right? Well he and his father happen to be in charge of these boys that I go to school with. And you'll never believe this! One night, this guy Liam and Thomas got into a huge fight, and that's when Thomas found out that I was kind of involved with Liam, and now we're on the run after Liam said the contract with Thomas' father is now over.' Yeah, that will definitely sound great," I say sarcastically.
