I didn't think the inside of the house would be big, but I shouldn't be surprised by so many things at this point. I slowly walk in front of Liam, looking around the spacious entrance.

The floorboards are made out of wood, and the walls and ceiling are white. The staircase is to the right of the hallway, and there is a window at the top of the staircase where the steps turn to the left. I'm speechless as I take in the beautiful aura. Liam stiffles a cough from behind me and I turn around to look at him.

"This is amazing," I finally speak and he laughs. "What?"

"Nothing," he says and shrugs.

I narrow my eyes. "No no, tell me."

"You're adorable when you look so ... fascinated," he admits and walks by me to go upstairs. I shake my head and follow behind him this time.

When we reach the second floor, there is one hallway leading to the second floor bedrooms, and I know those are the bedrooms because I can hear Valerie arguing with Daniel about the sleeping arangements and I giggle. "Do you want me to help you carry those?" Liam asks, looking down at the bags I'm holding, and I didn't realize that I stopped following him.

"Oh um ... I'm fine." I blush when he comes closer to me to pick up my bags.

"It's no big deal, really." Liam smiles up at me, making me blush more.

I let him take hold of my bags and he turns around to continue walking straight ahead to another staircase, much smaller than the one we were just walking up. It's kind of like a ladder. The is another hallway to the left of us, directly opposite of the bedrooms, but I don't ask him what is on that side. "Ladies first," Liam says when we reach the bottom of the steps, distracting me from my thoughts.

"I didn't think you would want to be around Rooney after everything that has happened," he says quietly. "That's why I suggested that you stay with me, but you don't have to if you don't want to."

"Why did you bring this up now?" I ask before going up the stairs, our bodies nearly touching.

Liam shrugs and looks down, but he doesn't say anything. I sigh and bring my hand up to cup his cheek. "We'll talk about this later." I smile at him and he does the same, but steps back to let me go up the stairs since Liam won't be able to walk up next to me.

As soon as I reach the top, I'm taken by surprise. "You can use the flashlight to the right of the staircase," Liam says from below me and I ignore him momentarily.

There is only one window, but it's big enough for me to assume that the sunlight coming in is the only light that we will need during the day. The moonlight shining in is enough for me to see everything in the room, too. The floor, walls, and ceiling are a dark wood, making the room feel warm and cozy. To the left of the stairs is a bed big enough to fit four people.

Directly in front of the bed on the wall is a plasma TV and below it is a long table with video controllers lined up neatly on top. I don't hear Liam walk behind me as he lays our bags on the bed. "Sorry," he says nervously. "The bathroom is through the door right there, just like you wanted." He points to the right of the TV and I smile.

"This is great." I go to the opposite side of the room where there is a couch and table where magazines were messily left. "How big is this room?"

"It covers about half, or more than half, of the second floor," he says.

This is incredible. "It seems like someone has been here a few times already," I point out.

Liam sighs. "We bought the house about three years ago, and if I wanted to just get away, I'd come here during our breaks. Sometimes I'd go alone or I'd bring a few guys. It's too nice to waste." I walk back to the bed where Liam has already unpacked most of his bag and mine is completely untouched.
