Heyooo!

So, I know it's been FOREVER since I last updated. Almost a whole month, right? Maybe a bit more? I'm too lazy to check ^.^

To be honest with you guys, I've just been too lazy to write. I don't enjoy writing this book too much, but sometimes, I do get in the mood and write. I apologize truly for the lack of posting *bows head in shame*

But since it's here, let's celebrate with a read, shall we?

And don't forget to...

Vote, comment, something, eh?

Piper walked through the borders of the place that was so called "Camp Half-Blood". She obviously still didn't understand what all this meant.

Was her mom really a god? After all these years when Piper went through all those hardships and living with her superstar-actor, single dad, her mother was just sitting up there in the sky, watching but doing nothing? That was hard for her to believe.

And then the second part hit her like a brick to the head. The blond girl was dating Percy Jackson? The Percy Jackson? There aren't many people many people with that name. And wasn't he supposed to be dead?

And then, her boyfriend, the boy who finally got her mind off of her first crush, couldn't remember her? Or anything, at that? He doesn't recall Piper but yet he teases her with almost kissing her and always checking her out? It just only makes it hurt even more.

This was too much for Piper. Her supposedly dead best friend is supposedly not dead and her supposedly missing mother is supposedly a god.

I love my life. Piper thought bitterly. If Percy really is alive, he has a lot of explaining to do.

For the past few months, life has been particularly hard for Piper. She's been getting strange dreams about her father being kidnapped and held captive by these giant creatures. She's been worried sick, too.

It's only been a few weeks after Piper finished her quest for Hera. She's tired and frustrated with everything right now. She boarded the balista with Leo, Jason, and Annabeth, eagerly yet nervously awaiting her arrival at Camp Jupiter.

Supposedly, her "dead" best friend is at this camp. Her heart fluttered at the thought.

Percy... she sighed like a love-sick girl.

She never truly got over him. It seemed as if she fell in love with only the thought of them being friends again like they were when they were little. It's been way, too long, though, and she wondered if he'd still remember her. If what Annabeth had said was true, Percy had traded places with Jason and he was now ruling their camp and vice versa. Since Jason lost his memories, Percy had to have lost his, right?

But then again, Jason had vague memories of a familiar face, or he would get dreams, or some thought would spark a memory that was believed to have been buried in the depths of his mind forever. Maybe he would remember Piper?

No... he couldn't. Piper's just a stupid friend from his past, almost six years ago. She's nothing special to him. He won't remember her at all.

Then her heart shattered again at a new thought. Percy already had a girlfriend, who he was happily with for who knows how long. He wouldn't remember her, much less love her.

Piper had been thinking for so long, it took her a while to finally detect the panicked screams of the Romans below her, probably thinking that they're being attacked. She sighed. Stupid Romans.

Her heart fluttered as the screaming calmed down and the door of the balista finally opened, the sudden light blinding Piper momentarily. She stood up and squared her shoulders, hiding her anxious and nervous mood well, a gift of a true daughter of Aphrodite.

She was about to meet Percy Jackson.
