Percy was really excited the whole way to Montauk. It was his absolute favorite place in the world to be. It's where his best memories were made and where his mom met his dad.

His Dad.

He felt that going to this place brought him one step closer to his father that he never knew. He had no memories of him whatsoever. He was lost at sea.

When Percy and Sally finally arrived at their destination, they went inside their cabin to do the cleaning and organizing. They were going to spend a whole weekend there, and Percy couldn't be anything but be excited.

Sally also felt really excited. Nothing made her more happy in the entire world to see her son so happy. He was her world. She had finally finished taking her things out of her bag when Percy ran into her room telling her that he had finished unpacking as well in his swim trunks. Percy walked out to the shore with Sally and they sat down on the wet sand and gazed into the ocean.

Percy couldn't help but think about his dad. Somewhere out there, in that big void of water, was his dad, and he was lost. "Mom?" she looked up at Sally.

"Hmmm?" Her gaze diverted from the ocean to her son. Here comes the Daddy Questions... Sally thought. She didn't want to do this, but she felt it was best for her son to know about his father.

"How did you and Dad meet?" Percy always knew that they first met here, but he never exactly knew how that went down.

Sally sighed and looked back out toward the ocean. "I was twenty-two. My heart was broken when my previous boyfriend, Collin Sanders, had broken up with me after four years of dating. I instantly ran here for comfort, since this was my favorite spot when I was young, too. Just like you, Perce. I sat on the shore crying when he walked up to me. Your father. He sat down next to me and tried his best to comfort me and to make me feel better. We fell in love and we dated for three years. One day, he..." Sally's voice faltered. "He had to board a ship, but it sunk. He didn't survive." Sally turned to look at her son. He had all of his looks. The black hair, the face structure, the sea green eyes..." She trailed off.

Sally's heart always broke whenever she talked about Percy's father and he can tell. He felt as if he had to get as much info as he can get about his dad. Percy's been restraining his curiosity for who knows how long, and it was about time to get this off of his chest.

Percy tucked his knees to his bare chest."Why did he have to go out to sea?"

Sally's eyes brimmed themselves with fresh tears and she tried to blink them away. "You see, your father is never able to stay in one place at one time, Percy. He had other things to attend to. He wasn't allowed to stay. He wasn't allowed to." Sally could practically smell the irritation emanating from her son. "He did it to protect us, Percy. Don't be that way..." she tried to calm him.

Percy had heard enough over these years that his dad was "unable to stay" and "he left them out of love". He was sick of it. "Why did he have to go! How could he do this to us! To you!!" Tears streamed down his face and he stood up. "I'm going inside." Percy turned on his heels and stormed off into the cabin. If his father was alive, he was going to give him a good chunk of his mind.

Sally was left there alone on the shore, bawling her eyes out. If only Percy could understand... If only Percy could know why he left...

Suddenly storm clouds appeared overhead, darkening the sky at a rapid pace and rain fell to where it wasn't safe to stay outside. She walked back to to the cabin, her hair and clothes soaked to the thread. She went inside and changed into a gray top and sweat pants. She found her son sitting in front of the television watching Hanna Montana. Weird...

Sally took a seat next to her son who had changed from his swim trunks to all black clothes. With his eyes still glued to the television, he said, "Disney Channel is getting to girly for my taste."

Normally Sally would have laughed, but she could tell Percy was in no mood to talk. Sally gazed over to look at her son. Percy really just wanted to avoid any conversation about his father. He was pretty fed up with him, and he just wanted some time to just think. He felt his mother's gaze on him and looked up. She spoke. "Percy, I jus-"

Sally was interrupted by a knock on the cabin door. Percy and Sally's eyes shot up to the door and they exchanged looks. They weren't expecting visitors.

Percy stood to answer the door and in front of him stood a boy that he had recognized from school. He then remembered that his name was Grover Underwood and he was in the same grade as he and Piper. The boy was soaked to the bone, not having any kind of umbrella on him and had a frightening look of bewilderment on his face. Percy looked down and was shocked.

Why doesn't this dude have on any pants?

And why are his legs fuzzy?

"Percy." the boy panted. "You need to come with me."

Haha!! Cliff hangers!! So, what do you think, eh?

Vote, comment, something? I'd appreciate it, though :P

Tell me what you think about this chapter. Sorry Piper wasn't in it, she will be the star of the next one, though, and that's all I'm saying.
