After editing Backfire, I realised how much I missed these two, so I had to write something else from Alex's POV. I hope you all enjoy this little one shot.

Part of my Past - Alex

“Alex?” I turned around when I heard my name and I caught my breath when I saw him standing there in the middle of the men’s department.

I hadn’t seen him in so long and he looked almost the same, he just had a new tattoo in his arm, but besides that, he was the same. His grey eyes were on me, staring with surprise as a slow smile started to crawl its way up to his lips, his tan skin was the same under the dark clothes that were his trademark, the piercing in his ears, eyebrow and lip, all the tattoos on his arms, the rider boots and that cocky smirk that made me fall for him once.

Marcus was in front of me.

“Wow, I haven’t seen you in so long. You look the same,” he said seeming glad to see me.

“Yeah, I haven’t seen you since I found you and Sarah on the sofa, half-naked and everything,” I answer without keeping the bitterness inside. It had been so long ago, yet it still made me mad.

“Oh, c’mon, Alex. That was so long ago. Can’t you forgive me already? It was a mistake,” he insisted taking a step closer but I stepped back immediately. “Now I know that she wasn’t worth it. I’ve tried to talk to you but you never answered my calls,” he added and I rolled my eyes.

“You really expected me to answer your calls? I thought you had a little brain at least,” I spat and he looked at me impressed, next he smiled as if my behaviour amused him.

“Always so feisty. That’s why I’ve always liked you,” Marcus took another step closer.

“Pff, please. I bet Sarah wasn’t the only one while we were together, so spear me all the lies. You never cared about me.” I tried to turn around and leave him there; for me, the conversation was over but he grabbed my elbow. I shoved him off immediately, not bearing his touch.

“Don’t be like that. You know I loved you, Alex. There was no one like you, even after all this time I still can see that.”

“The what a shame you lost your chance. God day, Marcus,” I stated ready to leave him there for second time that day, but he didn’t let me go again. Oh my God, he was looking for a fight.

“Won’t you give me a second chance? We all deserve one, don’t you think?” He was pleading with his eyes, yet his smile was sure that he got me.

Arsehole.

“Yeah, we deserve second chances but we can’t always get what we want, right? Plus, I have a boyfriend now so fuck off.”

“Oh yeah? Maybe you just want me to fight him for you. I can, if that’s what you want, Alex. I just want you back,” he insisted taking another step closer. My patience was running out.

“And I want you as far away as possible. Got it? Now let me go,” I told him slowly. When you were treating with stupid people you had to be considerate with them, to think of their limitations. God, what did I see in him? How was possible that I loved him? I was as stupid as him, then.

“Alex? What’s going on?” I heard his voice, his characteristic accent and my whole body responded at his proximity. I didn’t have to see him to know he was at my back.

I turned around to find his worried blue eyes watching me and Marcus who still was holding my elbow. I felt his grip tightening and I was two seconds about to kick him in the balls.
