Turkey Headcanons 1 - 50

1.) Turkey and the Netherlands have a small rivalry.. Especially when it comes to tulips.

2.) Turkey belly dances. Though he will deny it if asked about it.

3.) When Greece was younger he used to escape from Turkey's palace and run around Istanbul

On one of his adventures, he ran into bandits and was about to be killed when Turkey found and protected him, causing a hug gash across his eyes that almost blinded him. He wore the mask to hide it but even though it's healed now he still wears it out of habit.

4.) Japan will never chose Turkey over Greece and vice versa. He is too polite; and loved them both too much to hurt them.

5.) When Turkey was a child he has a dear little sister named 'Armenia.' They were very close.

When he became the Ottoman Empire he would go on rampages and severely injure Armenia. Afterwards, he would always have no memory of it.

Even today, he's confused and angry when Armenia points at him and says: 'you hurt me.'

(Regarding the Armenian Genocide and Turkey's refusal to admit it happened)

6.) Turkey is good at cooking and preparing food, especially sweets.

7.) As much as Greece loved annoying Turkey, by stomping on his tulips, he actually loved the flowers. In fact, one of the only ways Turkey could calm Greece down. Though he wouldn't accept it, until Sadik was eye-level.

8.) Heracles has a hard time seeing Sadik suffer, because at one point he didn't believe Sadik could be hurt.

9.) Young Turkey was in love with ancient Greece, but she didn't love him back. She seemed to care for the Roman Empire more. When Turkey grew up and murdered her, he regretted it instantly. However, he sees her likeness within Greece himself.

So no matter how much he hates Heracles, he can't bring himself to ignore him completely.

10.) Every year, Australia and Turkey meet up on the beaches of Gallipoli for the Dawn service. Every year, after the cerium they go out, drink, and talk about everything that happened, including what happened within the war.

They're the best of friends.

11.) Turkey and Greece have matching birthmarks of a heart and an we in their lower backs.

12.) Hungary acts like a tomboy because she was raised around boys and he manliest man in Hetalia.

Turkey is actually an amazing father, he was the one to give Austria the shotgun when he went to marry Hungary.

13.) Turkey was forced to kill the woman he loves most, and there isn't a day that goes by that he doesn't miss her.

14.) He actually has difficulty interacting with women. Especially if they cry. He just isn't sure how to speak to them, and that's what makes it hard.

15.) Turkey wants kids of his own

16.) Some days he just wants to forget his past. But it's always there to haunt him.

17.) One of the reasons why he can't stand to be around Greece is because he's allergic to cats.

18.) After Turkey killed Ancient Greece he took in Greece. Not knowing how to show his love to him, it scared little Greece thus causing Greece to hate Turkey

19.) Because Turkey is an old man, his vision has deteriorated, he has bags under his eyes and crow's feet.  But he's like your vain, "I'm-one-of-the-youngins!" uncle, that's why he is still wearing his mask.
