Canada Headcanons 1 - 50

1.) Canada sleeps with his glasses on. That's because his glasses are like America's Texas. They represent Quebec. He is afraid of losing, much less being separate from Quebec. That's the last thing he would want to happen.

2.) General Winter, always has been and always will be there for Canada.

3.) Canada really don't the quiet person most nations think he is. Being around all the other nations at world meetings (England & France specifically) Makes him so nervous that his selective mutism kicks in.

4.) When he sings he sounds exactly like Dallas Green

6.) Canada grows a play - off beard every season.

7.) Canada's favourite ice cream is vanilla bean with maple syrup on top.

8.) Canada had perfect eyesight up until the second battle of Ypres during WWI. The Germans used tear gas against the Canadian troops, not only killing and blinding many solders but causing irreversible damage to his vision.

34.) When they were kids Matthew and Alfred tried to switch places in order to trick Francis and Arthur a few times. It never worked.

35.) During his free time he would ride his horse and just go with the wind.

36.) The F.A.C.E (France, America, Canada. England) family are very competitive when it comes to the Olympics and the World Cup, but they always cheer each other on against the opposition.

37.) Canada never minded being in the shadow of his brother. All he really minded was the existence of his brothers shadow. Growing up he hated how everyone didn't know who he was and how they only say his brother when it was only him.

38.) Ukraine learned all her English from him. He never had the heart to correct her when she was wrong, so she often pronounces things in the wrong way. Matthew nor any other English - country have the heart to correct her.

39.) He loves learning different languages. Being a nation it isn't that hard for him. He still prefers to speak French over English (which annoys England to no end), but prefers his aboriginal languages over all others.

40.) Canada doesn't actually snoke weed. He just says he does to get attention and to 'look cool' in front of the other nations. He's pretty straight edge.

42.) The reason why it is so difficult to find something cruel or harsh that Canada has done to another nation is because the person he hurts the most is himself.

43.) He's very forgetful. He tries various ways to remind himself of events and other things, such as leaving himself notes and wrapping string around his finger, but he usually forgets anyway.

44.) Hong Kong and Canada are closer than America and Canada and most other sibling and friend nations. They tell each other everything and are the best of friends. And even if no one else considers them siblings... They do.

46.) Matthew only wears boxers at home, no matter how cold it is.

47.) Alfred doesn't play hockey with his brother anymore because he's afraid of the monster his brother becomes on the ice.

48.) Canada is actually much more knowledgeable on the topic of sex than Alfred is.

49.) Canada is just as strong as America. He just exercises more restraint.

50.) He might be soft spoken, polite, and prefers to stay out of trouble, but that doesn't mean he's a pushover. Canada can and will screw you over in a fight.
