Please, don't leave me

Steph POV

"If you struggle they are only going to get tighter." Pitch appeared infront of use with a evil grin.

"Pitch, this is getting annoying, what did I tell you about grinning?" I said in a bored tone.

"I don't really care. Now I'm giving you two choices: either you join me or die. Your choice." Pitch crossed his arms behind his back and wait for my answer.

"Wow. This is a hard decision." I said looking at the stary sky, pretending to think. "Die." I said giving him my best challanging stare.

"You sure?" Pitch asked and evil glint in his eyes.

"Positive. Why you think I would join you is out of the question."  I stated.

"What about the guardians, the children. . . Jack?"

He's trying to change your mind. Don't let him. I told myself.

I looked towards where the sleigh was and saw it riding toward us and my little frost boy flying towards us at full speed. I let a single tear fall down my cheek but kept on a determand look when I turned back to Pitch.

"They're strong, I know they will protect the children."

"But Frost will be heartbroken." Pitch said petting one of his Nightmares.

"He'll be fine." I said mainly to myself.

"Very well." Pitch made a arrow out of black sand, "Any last words?"

"Yeah actally, your not going to win." my voice was ice cold, I'm shocked he didn't get frostbite.

"We'll see, shall we?" Pitch then shot the arrow and it plunged into my stomach. I could hear Jack yelling 'no' but he couldn't do anything to save me. I know this is what I'm supposed to happen. The black sand started to come off of me, I was weak so as quick as I could I shot Pitch and send him flying miles away, destroying all the Nightmares with that one shot.

Everything went blurry but I knew was that I was falling, it felt like I was falling forever but I was probably for a few seconds.  Then a cold per of arms court me and I was gentle put down on a hard, wooden floor.  When everything became clear again, I saw Tooth place Ice next to me.

Carefully I leaned over and started stroking her.  "Good girl, you were very brave." I said breathlessly.

"Steph." I heard someone choke out.

"Jack?" I looked up and saw those icey blue eyes "Hey."

"I'm sorry, I'm so, so sorry." Jack grabbed my hand and place a firm kiss to it.

"Hey, hey, it's okay. You wouldn't of been able to save me anyway." I looked up at the moon and added, "If I wasn't meant to go then Manny would of saved me."

Bunny walked knelt down on the over side of me.  "Hey there, Sheila."

"Sup Kangaroo." I smiled.  Bunny frowned but then it wad replaced by a smile.

"You smile too much." I said pintching my cheeks slightly. I swatted his hand away and chuckled.

"And you frown to much." Slowly the rest of the Guardians where around me. "Hey guys." I said giving them a small smile.

Tooth started to crying and Bunny gave her a side hug her.

"Hey everythings okay." my attempt to calm Tooth failed miserably since she started to cry harder.

"It's not okay Steph! You have a hole in your stomach!" I winced slightly at how loud she shouted but who could blame her, I was deing.

I looked down at my stomach and saw I giant hole there but that's not what got my attention it was the fact that my blood was BLUE.

"Would you look at that, my bloods blue." I chuckled. I carefully touched my blood and examined it.

"You are fascinated by everything, aren't you?" Jack choked our a chuckle.

"How can I not?" I looked up at Jack to see tears rolling down his face slowly turning into ice and dropping onto the floor.

I slowly lifted my hand to his cheek and he leaned onto my hand, his eyes boring into mine. "You know, legend has it that if you bleed blue it means your part of Royalty." I stated.

"You are, your my princess." Jack smiled.

"And your my knight in shining armor." Jack blush slightly at that but frowned afterwards. " What's wrong?" he is starting to concern me now.

"I'm not though. I didn't save you and know you going to die!" Jack was running his hands through his hair and making it messier than usual. He looked. . . sexy. . . well sexier normal.

I didn't know how to reactvut I could feel my eyes brim with tears which I blinked back.

"The only other person I have loved for over 300 years is going to die because I didn't get to her in time. I should of stayed with you and protect you, I should of. . ." Jack was starting ramble and I needed hinlm to shut up so I do the only thing I can think of. . . I kiss him.

He's a bit stunned at first but kisses my back but it wasn't slow and soft like our other kisses, it's more hungry and passionate. After a while I had yo pull away to breath and Jack was getting a bit tp excited.

I started to hear a man whisper to me and the realize it was Manny.  He

was so bright in the dark, night sky.

"I haven't got much time left, I can hear him."  I slowly looked at the guardians who were either cry or on the verge of tears.

" Please, don't leave me.  I need you. I love you." Jack whispered to me, his tears turning into ice and falling on my cheek.

"I love you too, more than anything in the world, even my music. If I could I would stay with you forever but I cant. I need you to be strong for me, and never give up. You need to save the world from him." I put my hand on Jack's cheek and he held it there.

"I know. . . you guys. . . can. . .do. . . this." I could feel myself fading and then everything went black.
