The next couple of weeks flew by quickly. Living with the Davenports isn't as bad as I had thought it would be... But that doesn't mean I have to be happy about it. They killed my mom. I don't know how I can forgive them for that. Yeah, they saved me from falling into an ungrateful orphanage. But they should have never even bothered getting involved. I was doing fine on my own.
Well... Maybe I wasn't doing necessarily fine on my own.
Whatever. These are unwanted thoughts, just like my thoughts about Chase. I don't like him. He's just... A friend. Yeah, a friend who is very comforting... Whenever he wraps his arms around me I feel all fluttery inside and I want him to keep holding me like that... How he looks me in the eyes and it seems as though time just stops and no one else matters, how he's so caring and how he tries to hide how he truly feels when everyone else is being mean to him... And then he tells me about it... And how I can't help but want to kiss him when he looks at me from across the room...
STOP!
Ugh, this is messing up my mind...
Right now, me, Bree, Chase, Adam, and Leo are standing in the cafeteria waiting for the new kid to show up. You see, there has been talk about a new student transferring here from another country. Names Keith Avil, and he's a singer, I guess.
"Hey, BlueBelle, you gonna show that guy Keith up?" I turned around to see Gemma standing with a bunch of her friends and a couple of cheerleaders, staring at me with wide eyes. "Ever since your performance of 'Confident' everyone has been wondering when you're going to perform again!"
I plastered on a smile, which wasn't entirely fake. "Aww, thanks girls! I don't know. Maybe some time soon. It depends. But I'll check this guy Keith out. See what he's got."
The girls squealed and leaped off as I turned back to the four. Bree smiled at me reassuringly. "Don't worry, BlueBelle. I'm sure he's no match for you. You killed it at the talent show."
I nodded slowly, looking back at the stage that was through the double doors in the auditorium. To be honest, I wasn't entirely sure what exactly I thought about this new guy. Sure, he was a transfer student who could sing, but how good is he exactly? I honestly don't want to get thrown away like last years Aeropostale jeans. This is the only time that people have ever actually payed attention to me, other than the Davenports, and to be honest, it was actually kind of nice for a change...
"Hey everyone!" My ears perk up at the voice of Samantha on the intercom. Samantha is this years head of the drama club, so it's only matter-of-fact that she would know who Keith is. I'm in the drama club too, a VIP member, I just don't choose to go most of the time. Maybe I will change that depending on this Keith. "We're all set up in the audi - so if you wouldn't mind heading there and taking a seat as Keith Avil is going to perform a song for us. BlueBelle, how you gonna handle this?"
All of a sudden, I heard this very handsome and teenage male voice come over in the background of the intercom. "Who is this BlueBelle?"
"I'll tell you later, Keith. Anyways, have fun! Also, BlueBelle, can you meet me in makeup in five? Thanks!" Then she logged off the intercom.
I turned to look at the four who were staring at me with wide eyes.
"Oh, look at the time!" I pointed to an invisible watch on my wrist. "Gotta fly!" Then I raced out of there as fast as my skinny legs could carry me.

Sorry this chap. is so short, guys. I got kinda rushed, packed weekend ahead. Umm, so, I'll try to update something by tomorrow and Wed. but I'll be with my grandma on Thurs. and with my best friend who I haven't seen in a while for the weekend. I'll be back on Sun. so I'll try to squeeze something in for you guys. And as an apology, I can tell you that Spike will be showing up when Blue falls for a certain someone... (*cough* exchange student *cough*) and there MAY be a first kiss with Blase. Whatever I feel like. So, here's the Chapterly Quote:

I can promise you two things: 1.) There will be a lot of Blase (Blue x Chase) and Klue (Keith x Blue) action in the next chapters. 2.) There will be a first kiss.
