Chapter 18

Veronica's POV

I just layed in my bunk while crying. I felt someone start stroking me hair. I turn and see Jinxx.

"Stop crying. We're going to fix this," he said while going to his bunk.

I sighed. I turned over on my other side and ended up falling asleep.

"GERARD!" I screeched while hugging my best friend. We are 10 years old.

"Happy birthday, hun," he said. 

I felt someone jump on my back.

"AAAHHH!!!" I scream while falling to the ground.

I got up and saw Espi smiling.

"HHHIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed while hugging my best friend.

"Where's Andy?" I asked.

"3...2..," she started counting.

"Why are you counting?" I asked.

As soon as she said one, I was raised up in the air and put on someone's shoulders.

"ANDY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" I asked.

I jumped over onto Gerard's back and Espi jumped onto Andy's.

"ONWARD UNICORNS!" Espi screamed while they started running around.

Espi and Andy went off to go do something else and now it was just me and Gerard.

Gerard pulled out a box. "I got you a present."

My mouth hung open. "You didn't have to!" I screeched.

"Yes I did," he said.

I opened the box and saw the most beautiful necklace.

"THANK YOOOOU!!!!" I screeched.

He put it on me.

"We'll never be separated," he said.

I woke up with tears brimming my eyes. i cant believe I dreamed of THAT day.

I looked down at my chest and saw the same necklace I was given that day. I couldn't hold it in. I burst into tears. I pulled my knees up to my chest and rocked myself. I looked down at my phone and saw it was 2:00 am.

I didn't care. I just wanted to die. Not that anyone would care.

All of a sudden, I heard Espi scream.
