Chapter 40

Kat and Mia tackled me to the floor "What the hell!" I yelled at them "Were just going to dinner I don't need a fancy dress and some fancy makeup!" 

They laughed "Come on go shower while we set up." I rolled my eyes and went to go and shower.

I heard then whispering and shuffling around.

I got out of the shower and grabbed my robe and threw it on

I walked out and stared at the vanity all the lights were on and it was filled with makeup. "I Don't Wanna!" I whined when they dragged me to the  chair. 

"To bad, so sad, sucks to be you!" Mia mocked in my ear.

I let them do whatever to my face and hair.

*about 40 minutes later*

"Done!...... Now put on the dress." Kat chirped

I whined I really didn't want to do this.

I walked over to the bag covering the dress. (picture) 

It was beautiful. A beaded top with a loose skirt.

"Guy's-"

"TEDDY ELIZABETH BLACK STOP COMPLAINING AND PUT THE DAMN DRESS ON!"

I flinched at Mia's tone.an

Last time someone used that tone and irritation, and annoyance was about three years ago mar knocked me up side the heat with a whiskey bottle and jabbed into my side. all over a hotdog that had a small split.

I looked at her and her eyes softened.

"Teddy you don't have to worry about her any more. Xavier loves you. You didn't have that crap love story that he rejected you and abused you. He loved you since day one and he never thought once about harming you. Damn when you were taken he cried everyday and never slept he searched all around the world for you."

"Teddy He loves you too much to hurt you trust me he blamed himself everyday for you being taken."

Then Kat spoke up "When you two found each other as brother and sister I could tell that you were angry that you were related but that was a lie from the beginning your father talked to his dad before he left to take you as their adopted child at age 17. But you two were mates and I felt rejected because yes I did love him but I knew it was bound to happen."

I turned to Mia "The point is he loves you more then anything in the world and would do anything for you."

I sighed and grabbed the dress and walked to my dresser and grabbed a stapless bra and some lace underwear and walked into the bathroom I took off my robe.

I looked at my stomach in the mirror and looked at the three scars I had.

One from Kathrines silver knife

Two from the bullet wound

Three from the Whiskey bottle

The doctors said it was a miracle itself that I'm still alive today.

I slid on the dress and looked myself in the mirror I smiled.

I walked out of the bathroom and went to the closet and got out some flats and Mia stared at me and shoved me a pair of three inch black t string heels I sighed and put them on the left the room I saw Xavier standing at the end of the stairwell in a tux and a little rose in his pocket he held out a red rose corsage and I smiled.

the look of pure shock, lust and happeniss in his eyes and face I held out my right wrist and he put the flowers on my wrist I looked at him and my eyes settled on his tie it was cockeyed.
