Chapter 66
Cruze
"Clear"! Electricity flew through my body right after I heard the words. I didn't know if I was dead or alive. I couldn't feel anything, but pain and fire rushing throughout my body. I had a clear mask over my nose and mouth, and my shirt was completely ripped open. I couldn't see anything but darkness, but I could feel and hear everything around me. All I could remember was telling Diamond that I loved her in Allister's mansion. I couldn't even remember how I got here in this moment. "Clear"! Another jolt of electricity awakened my spirit. It made my whole body bounce and my insides felt as if they were melting, but this time, I could feel myself opening my eye lids. I blinked a couple of times before I could see strange people standing over me. "He's alive"! Someone yelled then I could hear clapping. "Okay people. We still have to get these bullets out of him"! I heard a woman say then I could feel the bed I was laying in being rushed down a long hall way. We busted through doors and into a big room. All I could remember was allot of commotion between people moving around me, a needle sticking through my skin, and a darkness swallowing me.

I blinked my eyes open to the sound of a heart monitor beeping in my ears and the feel of a soft hand gripping mine. I slowly turned my head to see who it was holding my hand. My mother's watery eyes starred at me for a long time. "Careem.....baby, I thought I lost you". She said to me. Her young flesh was still tight and beautiful like the last time I saw her. Her hair was in a bun and her caramel skin was smooth and soft. Her beautiful eyes starred at me heavily and her full red lips spoke to me, but I wasn't hearing her. This moment was surreal. Her big red earrings hung from her ears and her plaid, silk blouse was the exact same that I seen her in the last time I saw her. "Careem...baby. Talk to me". She said gripping my hand harder. I hadn't seen my mother in so long and for her to come to me like this made me want to cry. I wanted to hold her and call her mommy again like I used to. I wanted to see my dad and ask them both why they had to leave me. I opened my mouth to say something, but I got lost in her eyes. The same beautiful eyes that I also had.
"Momma". I finally said weakly. I closed my eyes just to see her laying perfectly in her casket. I was just a child when I had to walk up to her dead body and place a rose on her. My grandmother gripped my hand then softly tugged me away when I took a little too long to place the rose on top of my mother. I opened my eyes, but she was no longer there.
"Cruze, baby. It's me". Diamond said to me leaning closer to my face. She planted a soft kiss on my forehead. In a way, I was sad to see that my mother did not stay, but I was even happier that Diamond was here with me.
"Babe....what happened"? I asked softly.
"I saved your life baby". She said sniffing. "You died three nights ago just when we made it to the hospital. Good thing the doctors didn't stop reviving you or would be gone right now". I listened to Diamond as she spoke thankful enough that I wanted to cry, but as a man, I kept my composer. "You were just asleep this whole time. I went and took care of business with our Realtor. The estate is ours. We can start moving in when ever we want. I already called up a team of men to help move our furniture in. I even phoned up your Uncle Ronnie and booked him and his woman a flight so they could live with us because the house is way too big for just us two and the baby". I smiled at that. I truly loved Diamond to death. She knew exactly what to do to brighten my day and she was always there for me since the day I came back into her life. I watched as she pulled out a long strip of paper from her purse. She held it up in front of my face and I could see black and white pictures of a little embryo. "I forgot to show you this". She said to me as I starred at them. "I'm due in October". I smiled then Diamond put them back in her purse. "The doctors say that you'll be out of here in three weeks, but when you do get out of here......your not going back to that old town house. I'm taking you to our new home in Beverley Hills. Your Uncle will already be moved in and the house will be completely furnished for you. I'm gonna take care of you baby. I'ma spend time with my man because I love you....you know that. That's why I busted my ass last Sunday to save you". I smiled at that. Diamond reached over and stroked my cheek. "I've been leaving only to change my clothes and get showers....I even met with our Realtor once, but other than that I refused to leave your side these past couple of days. When I get you home and as soon as you get better, I'm gonna make love to you like I never have before baby". Diamond says kissing my hand. ''We're gonna go for hours just like you like it". She then put my hand down and starred into my eyes. She couldn't have been more beautiful with her natural hair past her shoulders, with half of it pinned up with two long pieces of hair on both sides of her forehead flat ironed down to her jaw bone. She leaned over me and planted a long kiss on my closed lips. Nothing could have felt more warm and sweet at the moment. She smelled delicious like Chanel fragrance and I was starting to lust her. My attraction to Diamond was so passionate and my love for her was beyond what anyone could call love. It was Fatal. She then pulled away from our kiss and sat back down in the chair next to me. I then looked down at myself and realized that my chest and my torso was wrapped up just over my abs. Diamond then grabbed a remote and pressed a button to make the top half of the bed lift up. "I want you to eat something baby". She said. I didn't know why I wasn't speaking to her. I just rather listen to her beautiful voice than cut her off with my own. When I see all of the gleaming diamonds on her ring finger, I know that I am truly the luckiest man in the world. Her beautiful hands and manicured acrylic nails couldn't have looked more prettier to me with the fifty thousand dollar diamond ring I chose for her to help compliment. Diamond sat with me, fed me, and talked to me until I fell asleep.
The three weeks flew by quickly and I was so glad when I was being pushed out of the hospital into the warm May air in a wheel chair by Uncle Ronnie. When Diamond drove us home, she kept her word and didn't take me back to the town house, but took me to the 2.5 million dollar estate in the Hills. I couldn't have been more happier with my small family. Uncle Ronnie's woman Delilah and Diamond did take care of me and catered to all of my needs. When I got better, she made love to me for hours like she said she would and I made her orgasm about a good three times in our grand master bedroom. As months started to go by, my wife's belly started to blossom. She had the pregnancy glow and couldn't have looked more beautiful each day. We got a nursery ready and prepared for what we knew as my son to come into the world. I loved him and I didn't even know him yet, but his mother was the reason why I was still alive. God had given me a second chance at life because he knew that my son couldn't grow up without a father like I did. My son was a king. I was just thankful for everything I had and everything I ever grinded for. Eleven years ago when I thought I lost my soulmate forever I never thought I would be married to her ever, but now she is my wife and has my kids. That's how I know that the Lord God truly answers prayers. No other female could compare to the woman I had by my side. I owed her everything from the time we was little ass teenagers getting into trouble. It was all by the grace of God that we found each other again. Shit, nothing could take away from the moments I spent with her. There was just some things money couldn’t buy. Genuine love was hard to find, so cherish your loved ones while you can and enjoy life for what it is. Sincerely, a young hustler.
