Pivotal (Sasuke and Hinata)

Release

Hinata grip of Sasuke's hand was firm as the voices were only a few metres behind them. Sasuke noticed that Karin, Suigetsu and Juugo were quite far from them. This situation was not good. All of them were barely healed and they don't have enough energy to fight. Sasuke only hope that no one will noticed them. 

Then the voices became further and further. Sasuke let out a silent breath. 

"Hinata, they are gone. So let go of my hand," said Sasuke in a very low voice, not risking anyone to heard him.

Hinata slowly tilted her head to Sasuke and said "I... I can't m-move."

"What do you mean you can't?" asked Sasuke, still in low voice. Then he noticed that Hinata's shadow was different. Sasuke remembered that Jutsu. 

"Shadow possession completed," said a person with familiar voice, Shikamaru.

Sasuke quickly forced himself to break away from Hinata's gripped. It was too late to run away. He need to distract that person.

As Sasuke heard the foot steps, he wrapped his arm around Hinata's neck and pulled out his sword. Hinata was shocked as Sasuke's sword was placed near to her face.

"Just come out now," said Shikamaru.

Then Sasuke took several steps as he dragged Hinata with him. He faced Shikamaru, who was quite shocked by the unexpected twist.

"S-Sasuke... why is Hinata with you?" said Shikamaru as he didn't expected it.

Sasuke noticed that there was only Shikamaru. Naruto and Sakura were not around near the place.

"Looking for your old friends?" said Shikamaru and added "Unfortunately I'm the only one who noticed you. Well you can't expect that idiot Naruto to notice, right?" He tried to control his emotions and said "I don't care whether you see Naruto or not, but explain to me why is Hinata being captured by you?"

Then suddenly the shadow retrieved back to Shikamaru. He did realized it was over the time limit of his Jutsu.

"Well, let me thanked you first, because of your Jutsu I got her," said Sasuke as he twisted the story. Shikamaru was quite shocked by that statement. "This little girl think that she can beat me up and dragged me to Konoha. Stupid, right Shikamaru?" Hinata didn't said anything. She was dumbfounded. 

The sword touched Hinata left cheek and she can felt blood was oozing out. As she wanted to whisper something to Sasuke, suddenly a familiar voice came out from nowhere, stopped her.

"Shikamaru... where are you??"

It was Naruto. Shikamaru tilted his head around then without any notice, Sasuke pushed Hinata towards Shikamaru and raised his hand.

"Released" Hinata heard that as she was being pushed by Sasuke. 

Then puffs of smoke appeared and with that as his cover, Sasuke vanished from Shikamaru's sight.

"What the... That Hinata was just a subtitution?!" assumed Shikamaru.

Naruto found Shikamaru and went near him.

"Hey, Shikamaru. What's wrong? Why did you stop?" asked Naruto.

"I met Sasuke"
