Damn it's cold.

Why am I so cold?

Where am I anyway?

Ugh I'm so annoying.

I shivered severely as I tried to remember what happened the day before.

It was useless ofcourse. Stupid,good for nothing brain.

I cracked open my eyes ,but instantly closed them. Why the hell were the walls so white? I tried again and this time I was better able to stand it. I fully opened my eyes and looked around the hospital room. How many times was I going to find myself here? I wonder how I got here this time.

Before I could try to force much lazy brain to remember the door burst open.

I watched as Sara came running in tears falling down her beautiful face. It tagged at my heart strings.

She crashed into me and squeezed.

"Can't breath.." I wheezed.

She gave a small giggle before she released me from her iron grip.

"What's wrong babe?" I asked her.

She simply shook her head but I wasn't having any of that. My closest friend here was crying and I needed to make her feel better.

"Come on Sara tell me. Is it about the cookies cause I can get you a whole new box I swear."

She gave a barking laugh.

"You never fail to amaze me Kat. No,it's not about the cookies." Her face turning serious.

"Do you remember how you got here?"

I tried to remember again but still came up blank. It was like a fuzzy dream. Just out of focus.

I shook my head and she nodded.

"Well I'm not sure why but one of the wolves on patrol found you passed out on the forest floor. He said you were terriblely cold and he couldn't wait for the alpha to get there so he carried you here. "

The forest?...

"How long have I been here?"

I saw her shift uncomfortably.

"Well.....you see..."

"Just spit it out!"

She flinched and I wanted to apologize but I also really needed to know.

"Five days." She whispered.

"Five days! Five da...." I stopped short. I couldn't  believe it. What the hell happened to me out there?

"Yup. And the alpha has trashed the pack house at least twice in that time. He's really is going ballistic without you around. Everyone was actually really worried about you."
She said pointing to the corner of the room. My eyes followed her hand and saw a pile of teddybears, flowers and candy which I guess were from various members of the pack.

I gave a very unlady like snort. Ya right. They hated me when I just got here and now they mysteriously love me?

Sara seemed to know what I was thinking because she opened her mouth to speak but the door burst open again and Micha and Aiden  walked in.

I shivered slightly but not from the cold this time. I met my mates stormy eyes and I couldn't help falling deeper in lo- like with him.

"Out." He voice made me so...so....I don't even know.
