"Hey," someone whispered as they knocked on the door to Ryan's room. "Room 713. That's your lucky number isn't it, sis?" Morgan whispered walking in with new clothes for Shelbi.
"Hey! Yeah it is. I think that's a sign that he is gonna be perfectly fine. Are you stayin a while?" Morgan nodded and Shelbi continued. "Okay, let me get changed then we can talk and you can tell me what has been goin on at the house."
"Do you leave this room at all? I know you used his shower so you are clean but that's bad."
"They've been letting Brandon and I eat his meals because we don't leave. Okay now I'm in clean clothes. How have mom and the kids been? How's Bai?"
"Mom and the kids are fine Bailey misses you. She's acting the way she did when you went to Pennsylvania for two weeks. Landon and dad are fine obviously because us three have been bringing you clothes. How's he? How are you?"
"I'm... gonna be okay... I think. As for Ryan, well he'll be better soon. That's what the doctors think. The doctors have been very good to us."
"Good I'm gonna hang out until Lindsay and Gavin get here. Brandon is meeting them in the lobby. I can't believe he's been in here almost two weeks already."
"I can. I'm countin hours. All I do is change spots in here and open and close the blinds."

"Hey!" Lindsay said walking in and hugging both girls. "Brandon and Gavin are in the lobby making out. I decided to come up instead of just stand there. Jackie and Damien are on their way."
"Hey. Yeah they don't get to be alone at all because Gavin usually just comes up here instead of Brandon going down there and they don't really wanna be couple-y with me around," Shelbi explained with a sigh at the end.
"Well when Jack and Dai get here I'll leave because I have some stuff to do at the house and can't stay all day. I wish I could."Morgan changed the subject quickly.
"Okay well catch me up on what's goin on at yalls house!" Lindsay and Shelbi listened as Morgan talked about the moping of the pets and kids in the Clare house. Halfway through Brandon and Gavin came upstairs and started listening. When Morgan finished Gavin and Brandon added some small talk to keep everyone from pressing subjects.

"Sorry it took a bit longer than originally thought. Horrid traffic at this time of day." Jackie said as she came in and hugged everyone. She sat down opposite Shelbi who was next to Ryan's bed.
"Also Jackie can't drive very well so we had to stop so we could switch and i started driving," Damien added sitting on the small couch next to Brandon.
"Well I know yall just got here but I have work to do at the house so I must go. Tell your mom and dad I said hi." Morgan stood and bye to everyone.
"We will. She's still sick and getting worse. We've taken her to doctors but they have no idea what's wrong. So she's stressing out more and that doesn't help with her being sick." Damien said as he walked Morgan out.

"It's getting late we have to get home to cook dinner for dad or he won't eat. Bye guys," Jackie said standing to give everyone hugs.
"I actually need a ride home. Gavin is staying here tonight. Can I go with yall?" Lindsay said as she stood to give Damien a hug.
"Yeah that's cool." Damien spoke before Jackie could make a joke about it.
"Okay!"
As the trio walked out Shelbi and Gavin whispered at the same time, "then there were three."
Brandon started laughing which made everyone laugh. After the laughing died down all three of them decided to lay down and try to sleep. Shelbi had been sleeping in the reclining chair for over a week and was finally used to it.

"I need to go home. I have to feed the new puppy and let it go outside," Gavin said when he woke the next morning.
"Okay I'll walk you out. I'll be back," Brandon said pointing at Shelbi playfully as he closed the door.

"Hey you were gone a long while." Shelbi said as Brandon walked through their door. "It's lunch time now. They are bringing us food in like 10 minutes."
"Sorry! I wasn't meaning to be gone so long!"
"It's fine I didn't mind. Yall are so cute and you don't have to try and hide it when I'm around. "
"It's feel like it's rude to you both if we don't tone it down a bit."
"It's not. I'm fine with yall toning it down but yall kinda just... stop when you are up here and that's what isn't fair."
"Okay. I'm actually glad you said that I have somethin to tell you..."
"What?" Shelbi felt excited for the first time in a week.
"Im going t-" Brandon started to tell her but was interrupted by Ryan's heart monitor which had started beeping very fast and Ryan started twitching, as if having a nightmare.
"What's happening?" Shelbi freaked out and looked to Brandon for answers.
"He does this when he is having a nightmare and about to wake up! I've seen it plenty of times press the call button!"
"Okay! Where is it?" Shelbi was yelling slightly. When she found it a whole brigade of nurses flooded into their room. Brandon and Shelbi stayed out of the way and just watched.
