"Hey! Give that back!"
"No we are packing you can talk to him later! Shoot you'll be-"
"Shh! My parents don't know and if they were here you would have blown my cover. They will be home in like two hours. In that time we need to finish getting my clothing and stuff that will fit in boxes packed up. After that we can get all my big stuff out after they go to sleep. We are gonna need your's or Ryan's truck."
"Wait. Why do you need anything but your TV? There are already dressers and a bed there."
"Well I need my book shelf filled with my books and we can take my mattress just in case we may need it later. I'm not taking my dresser but I am taking that jewelry box. I might not really wear any of that stuff but it all came from Aunt Sylvia. You know how close we were before she died."
"I know but that thing isn't a jewelry box... It's a jewelry closet!"
"Wow. I can not believe you just said that!"

"Girls we are home!" Taryn's Dad yelled as they heard the front door close.
"Hey did yall finish going through Taryn's clothes and stuff?" Her mom said when they walked out of the hall way.
"Yep. We are just finishing up. Anything she doesn't want or can't wear is in these few boxes. The rest of the boxes in my truck are from my house."
"That's alot of boxes!"
"We have alot of people."
"Are you staying for dinner sweetheart?"
"No, Ma'am. I have to get home to cook for everyone so Mom doesn't have to."
"Okay well I'll see you tomorrow or something?"
"Yes, Ma'am, you will."

"Hey they asleep? Cool. I'm at the mouth of the neighborhood. Be there in two. Be ready to load up. Just those three things right? Okay. I've got everything we need."

"Okay, Ry, get the jewelry closet. Trey, get the bookshelf. All the books are out of it. Taryn and I will get the mattress. We need to be in and out. Don't mess up and wake them. We are gonna tell them like ten minutes before we leave. Got it, everyone? Good. Go!"

"Okay all the straps down? Everything in tight? Tailgate shut? Make sure not to slam the doors when you get in. Taryn you gotta sit on a lap I don't care which, mine or one of the boys. I'm just kidding calm down trey it might be dark but I can still see your facial expressions. I'm driving. Let's go and get this stuff in the moving truck."

G: hey I haven't seen you in almost two weeks and before they we didn't really have time to just hang out. Let's meet somewhere. We need to catch up
S: yeah sure. Let me say bye to T then I'll be on my way. I'll call in a few and we can get the details.
G: don't worry about calling. Let's meet in our spot.
S: we haven't been there in years! I'll meet you there when im done here.
G: see you then.

"Hey. Don't you worry about any of us here. We will miss yall but this is good for you and we can visit. It's not too far away. Be good and have fun, okay?"
"Okay. No promises on the being good part. I love you alot. Be good to Shelbi. Make sure she doesn't always put herself last. You take care of her. She tries to take care of everyone else too much."
"I will. I love you too, T. You take care of yourself too. You worry about us too much. We might be a little crazy for some people but we can take care of ourselves."
"I know I know."
"Come here, Trey! I need you to listen to me," Shelbi said pulling him in for a hug.
"I'm listening."
"Take care of her and yourself. Be good to each other. It's yalls house so you can do what you want but if I hear about something I don't like... I will be in that house before you can apologize. Got it?"
"Yes, Mother! Thanks for all the help and everything."
"Anything for Taryn. She's so much more than she seems. If yall don't get married I will be so severely devestated. I love her and you are so good for her and I love yall as a pair. You treat her the way she deserves. It's one of your best qualities."
"Really? How long have you felt this highly about me?"
"Year one. Basically like two months in. I just didn't want you to get a big head." Shelbi chuckled at herself and didn't notice Trey wrapping his arms around her again.
"Thank you again. You know you are good for her as well. Without you she'd probably be lost and you are a rock to her and for that I love you."
"I love you too, Trey. You know if yall get married you'd be stuck with me as a sister forever. You think you can handle that?"
"Oh yeah. Anything for Taryn... She's my everything. Before we leave I want to ask you something."
"Sure."
"Can I propose? On her birthday. I'll invite everyone down to be with us but I wanna propose in private because I don't want her to think she has to say yes. Are you okay with that?"
"Yes! Of course! Why wouldn't I be? That's awesome! Yall then can plan the wedding for a couple years because you have to be 19 to get married."
"I don't know why you would say no. I just figured you and I the two people closest to her and I wanted your blessing. Okay. I'm going to say goodbye to Ry then we have to go."

After all the goodbyes were said and everyone was ready for their departure Shelbi and Ryan waved as the truck pulled off the curb.
"Hey I have to go meet Gab. I'd take you with me but you have work to do and the meeting is in Ina secret place. Sorry. love you. I'll see you in a day or two?"
"I guess. I actually have to meet with Dai. I'll text you later?"
"Yeah."

"Hey, Gib, I'm here. Where are you?" Shelbi yelled from the bottom level of their hideout.
"I'm up. The third level."
"I'm it even safe up there anymore? I thought we decided to only go up there if it was... I will be right up!" Shelbi realized something big was happening and scrambled up to the third level.
When she got up there Gabby's back was to her and she whispered, "I missed this old tree stand. I remember when we were little and we snuck up here with with a BB gun. Our dads almost killed us. From then on this was our place. We hid all our secrets up here. It's so special." Gabby was half turned toward Shelbi and Shelbi could hear tears in her voice.
"Yeah I remember. It still is special. We never told anyone. Gabby?"
"Yeah?"
"Are you okay? This level is for emergencies. Like death or first boyfriends or something else really important."
As she finished turning around the first Tear fell and she had a half smile. "I know. I just wanted you to be the first person to know... I'm pregnant."
