I'm gonna start doing reader of the week on Instagram! From now on, everyday Saturday I will pick a reader who has been commenting a lot on the chapters that have been posted that week and they will get a shoutout on Instagram and wattpad for being the reader of the week! Eliza POV:

"Why is he here?" I asked.

"I don't know." Carrie said.

"Ben, keep Carrie in here with you." I said.

"Eliza-" Ben started.

"Please, just listen to me." I said.

"Come here Carrie." Ben said.  She ran over and sat down on his lap on the couch as he wrapped his arms around her. I took a deep breath and then headed out to the stage door. I opened it up  and everybody had cleared out excpet for my dad.

"Dad, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Grab you're sister. We're going home." My dad said.

"Dad, we don't live with you anymore." I said.

"You are 17, you listen to what I say." He said.

"Dad, you told me to get out of the house. I am not letting you  anywhere near Carrie."  I said.

"SHE IS MY DAUGHTER AND I HAVE FULL CONTROL OF HER." He screamed. "I can call the cops on you and accuse you of kidnapping her."

"And I'll tell the cops everythiing you've done to me and the real reason I'm wearing this sling on my arm." I said. He glared at me as I stood there, glaring back at him. "You know you can't beat me." I smirked. He can't hurt me, there's too many people around.

"I'm getting my daughter back, and you can't stop me." He said and turned and left.  I ran back into the theatre and down to Ben's dressing room where he was still sitting on the couch with Carrie.

"Carrie, go play with Sarah." I said. She jumped up and ran out of the room. "Wy does life hate me?" i asked flopping down on the couch next to Ben.

"Hey, come here." He said wrapping his arm around me and pulling me close to him.

"My dad is threatening to take Carrie. He said we had to move back because I'm only 17 and he still controls me. When I said no he said he's going to call the cops on me and accuse me of kidnapping and then said he's going  to get his daughter back."  I said laying my head on Ben's chest.

"He can't do that." Ben said.

"He kinda can, he is legally in charge of both of us." I said. "Ben, I think I should just move back in with my dad." I said sitting up.

"You can't do that!" Ben said.

"If I don't he will do something crazy and drag you into it and I'm not letting that happen." I said.

"I have an idea! Keep living with me, get a job, and then you can become emancipated!" Ben said.

"Who's going to hire me?" I laughed.

"Eliza, you're in New York. There are so many jobs out here." Ben said.

"But Ben! I only have one arm to work with." I said.

"What if you could get a job here! You could hand out the playbills and show people to their seats." Ben said.

"Yeah, I don't think it's that easy." I said.

"I'm gonna get you a job El." He said.

"I know." I smiled.

"Hey Eliza, wanna make a musical.ly with us?" Sarah asked as her and Carrie ran in.
