Wattpad was being super glitchy yesterday so I apologize for all that craziness! Picking the reader of the week this afternoon!!!
Ben POV:
"This is my special friend Ben. He performs on Broadway in the show Tuck Everlasting! He is special to me because he makes me feel better when I'm sad and always makes me laugh." Carrie smiled as we stood in front of her class. I'm the only not old person here. This isn't awkward at all. We sat back down at her seat and we started doing a coloring page.
"So this is your classroom?" I asked.
"Yeah! I don't know why we are coloring though, our teacher treats us like we are 5 sometimes." Carrie laughed. "Hey Ben?"
"Yeah squirt?" I asked.
"Do you like Eliza?" She asked.
"Yeah, she's amazing." I said.
"I mean, like like Eliza. Like do you love her?" She said.
"You are full of questions today aren't you." I laughed.
"Do you think she's pretty?" Carrie asked.
"I mean, yeah. She's beautiful." I blushed.
"So you do like like her!" Carrie smiled.
"I like this gift you gave me for special friends day." I smiled.
"And you like like my sister!" Carrie said. "If it makes you feel better, I like like somebody too." She laughed. She pointed at a boy in her class in the corner who was coloring with his grandparents. "He's 11 and he plays basketball. He can even write in cursive!" She said.
"Sounds like the whole package!" I laughed.
"Oh yeah he is. And so is Eliza! Eliza can write in cursive, play guitar, and she even knows how to not get lost on the subway!" Carrie said.
"Well sounds like any guy would be lucky to have her." I laughed.
"Oh yeah, they would. But me and her are a package so whoever gets her gets me too." She said. She laughed as her blonde curls fell in her face. "Do you have a girlfriend?"
"Not currently." I said.
"Well if you ever want one, El doesn't have a boyfriend." Carrie said.
"You're a mess." I laughed. We finished her school day and headed back to my apartment.
"Can I paint your nails?" Carrie asked.
"I would say yes but I'm not allowed to have nail polish on my fingers for my show." I said. All of the sudden Carrie screamed out in pain and fell to the ground. "Carrie are you ok?" I asked.
"MY BACK HURTS!" She cried. What do I do? She continued to scream and cry as she laid on the floor.
"What is wrong with it?" I asked.
"It stings!" She screamed. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. I pulled out my phone and called Carolee. Soon enough she was here and laying with Carrie on the couch as Carrie was asleep.
"Is she going to be ok?" I asked.
"In time. Ben, for Eliza and Carrie's safety the police need to get involved. Look at this little girl. Her whole back is cut up and she is emotionally scarred. It needs to happen." Carolee said. Just then Eliza came into the apartment.
"What's going on?" Eliza asked.
"Her back was hurting her." Carolee said.
"El, you need to call the cops. It's time." I said.
