Ben POV:

"Why are we going to the theatre? It's your one day off." Carrie said as she held my hand, walking down the crowded new York streets with Sarah right behind us.

"Because, I have a surprise for you at the theatre! Now stop asking questions!" I laughed.

"How much longer till we are at the theatre? My legs hurt really bad!" Carrie said.

"Come here." I laughed. I leaned down and Carrie jumped on my back.

"Better." Carrie laughed. A couple minutes later we were finally at the theatre. We went to Sarah's dressing room and I set Carrie down on the couch.

"I'll be right back, Sarah, you know what to do." I said. I ran to the stage where our casting director was standing.

"Ben, what is this about?" He asked.

"I have a little girl who I think would be a perfect Winnie Foster." I smiled.

"Benjamin we aren't holding auditions." He said.

"Hear me out, this little girl has an amazing voice and a terrible home situation! Please, just give her a chance." I begged.

"Fine. Who is she?" He asked.

"Her name is Carrie and she is 10 years old." I said.

"Is she here now?" He asked.

"Yes, let me go get her!"" I smiled. I ran back to the dressing room and Sarah and Carrie were laughing. "Carrie, follow me." I smiled.

"Break a leg." Sarah smiled grabbing her in a hug. I grabbed Carrie's hand and we headed out to the stage.

"This is Carrie Rose." I smiled.

"Hi!" Carrie smiled.

"Does she know a song from the show?" He asked.

"I know Everlasting and Good Girl Winnie Foster." Carrie smiled.

"Start with Everlasting." He said. She started singing and you could tell she was kinda nervous at first but she gained power as she continued. "Is it everlasting?" She singing the last note with perfect vibratto.

"So?" I asked.

"We will think about. She's definitely got talent. Carrie, can you sing it one more time and we will record you?" He asked.

"Yes!" She smiled. She sang it again with even more power than before. They said thank you and she headed off the stage.

"Thank you so much!" I smiled.

"You owe us Ben." He said.

"I know." I said. I jumped back on the stage and ran backstage to find Carrie standing waiting for me. "Carrie you were amazing!" I smiled running and grabbing her in a hug, spinning her around.

"Thank you!" She laughed. I picked her up and took her back to Sarah's dressing room where sat anxiously waiting.

"How did you do?" She smiled.

"Great I think!" Carrie smiled.

"She killed it!" I said.

"Where's Eliza?" Sarah asked.

"Job hunting so you two munchkins are mine for the day." I laughed messing up their hair. "So what do you two want to do?" I asked.

"Can we go to laser tag?" Sarah asked.

"Or we could just play in the park." Carrie said.

"How about we go shopping." I said. I could tell Carrie was worried about money. "You're sister gave me money to give you, says your grandma gave her a bunch of money." I said to Carrie. Yeah, I lied. But, Carrie's expression changed to happiness and she was excited. We headed out and went straight to Sarah's favorite store. I've never been in this store. Everything is so...girly. Carrie and Sarah took off as soon as we got in the store and started grabbing clothes to try on. I pulled out my phone and I had a text from Eliza.
