"Falsehoods are everywhere, and the truth may even be false." - Noble's Path
He stood waiting before his former council, wondering what he could and should do with them.
The door burst open and the guards opened fire on Blue, as if they had been conditioned to do so - and it was more than likely that they had some mental intrustions that turned them against the Loremaster. He could see it in their eyes, they were twitching from side to side, their movements sporadic.
Somewhere inside they knew they were going to do wrong, but their mindchips had been bombarded with messages to turn violence against the Loremaster. They had been turned, most of them scribes without the encryption capabilites to battle an intrusion from a council member.
This was one thing that Blue had not thought about, his entire guild turning against him, and he still had no answers. He was on the edge, and had been for far too long - he was starting to feel like a sharpened razor his senses were so keen and bright.
He was springing left and right, his laz sword left behind, bright beams of burning light trailing just past him at every interval. His hands connected with faces, necks; fingers jamming into nerve clusters, legs flying in nearly impossible directions.
He was flailing, and the guards were flying about, bloody and battered, but not dead - they had been manipulated, he did not want them to have to suffer the sins of their superiors. Soon they were all incapacitated, the pools of blood on the floor glistening with crimson stars as the light played over them.
"Now we get the truth!" he shouted, turning back to his former council members, red murder shining in his lapis lazuli eyes.
