"Love, honor, and death." - Zebushido code
He had been running through space, that was for sure, and in folded space - time could be uncertain. But things were going wrong - he had been attacked thrice by Outsider raid teams, their ships looking like forward leaping scorpions, poised to strike.
He had dodged, destroyed, and outmannned every single one of them, but not without damage being done to his own warpcraft. There were dents and even hull punctures, but that did not matter, as he did not need to breathe oxygen to support his life.
He was still slotted into the input controls, his viewshield cracked and damges, its outer energy hull shimmering a dark orange; showing that it was on the brink of total collapse and implosion. Would that destroy him?
It may, but he had a few doubts. He had survived in the cold vaccuum of space, but this felt somewhat difference.
The Emperor could feel the pain in the machine, the warpcraft, as sharply as you would feel a blade thrust into your arm. Cerulean and orange dots and swirls danced before his ocular senses and he knew that he would have to land..somewhere and fast.
His chromium face frowned and then turned into exuberance once he saw something...something that was not there before.
It was a planet fit for habitation and by his readings, it was full of humanoids...and even Outsiders?
Even though, The Autonomous Emperor made his way to hidden Krist.
