"Give to your brothers and sisters, your betters, your peers, and those below you. Be the goodness you seek in your heart." - Omnibook of Charity pg3579 ch9 v4
It was fire incarnate that was weling up inside of him, a burning so deep that he thought his heart would burn clear through his chest. The darkness of the room intensified the heat, as if he were the heart of a star going nova, losing its fight against inevitable gravity.
Bank was dead, Tylux and Ex trembled before his very sight, and his sight was red at this point, and if there was a shred of mercy left in Blue, it had been left in the telecaster that his head was left at.
But it was more than that - this rage had some other tinge to it, Janette Bank's neck had snapped like a twig and he didn't have inorganic muscular flexers implanted to give him that kind of strength. He had just held her there a second and wanted her head bent sideways, and it was so, her eyes bulging and tongue protruding from her mouth as the smell of her soiled clothes assaulted him, as usually happened in death, though many did not mention it - the releasing of the bowels at the onslaught of the end.
Here he was...no they, he decided, trapped - in the smell of offal, red coppery blood and that of a Butchery guildhouse, with him, some of the guards dead on the floor, others still living.
He hadn't meant to kill them, but his blows were so effective he couldn't help it - Blue was hungry for the sight of living blood or the thrill of an arm or leg bent back and broken from one of his blows.
He felt like sound and violence pulled together, the weirwood table darkening as he placed his hand on it, the table absorbing his thoughts and emotions at once, blackening to ebony, the two sobbing councilors backed against the far corner as their once-dead, now-homicidal guildleader walked towards them with the calmest look upon his glistening red eyes; eyes that beheld death in their center.
And the air behind him rippled and a pair of reptilian arms wrapped around his waist and pulled him backwards, Blue disappearing as though pulled into a lake, the waves of reality lapping slightly before folding back together.
