There was great calamity on the Starslinger side of the wormhole, long tendrils of white matter had begun to escape back out of tunnel, resembling an ocotopus worming its way out of a hole, like it was grabbing onto every piece of available space and pulling it all backwards.

Something was wrong.

There had been a ban on the use of the weapons in the Imperium, but that law did not reach the Outsider planets and Technomancers who had no compunction against using such a space and gravity distorting weapon.

But with their first shot, it had gone wrong - they knew of a very special place, a lynchpin that even the Emperor was not aware of, and it was decided by the Elder Council (as they called themselves) that to truly break apart the Emperor and his minions would be to strike at this tiny planet.

The ships that had moved lightyears away from the weapon now clamored to put even more distance between them and the tendrils creeping back, visible tachyons slipping through space and grasping at the ships, slicing them in half - silent explosions in the black.

Some were crushed down to a single atom, or stretched as if on an event horizon, the passengers left screaming in agony as their material beings were warped and torn apart. Visible waves of various silvery colors emanated from the hole for a few more seconds and with a cone of immensely dense flame, the hole disappeared.

Of the three hundred ships and two million people who had put together and supervised the weapon, not a one survived.
