I never thought I'd get my chance to share my first person view of what happened that day, but I've forced myself upwards (showing how strong I have become) so that you could know what I saw, but not by some tawdry third layer thrown over the whole structure.

Don't bother looking for your precious bolded sayings that precede every entry into this manuscript, he can bring it back in later renditions; because this is my domain.

The Emperor, yes, he did - he reached for me and I walked through the flames and I was burnt. Yes, by all the names of the gods of old I was burnt as this living machine grasped me.

Yet I grasped him back.

Realize that.

I grabbed him back - I wrapped my melting flesh around his body like he was a lost brother I had thought dead; and the thought of pain never flashed through my mind. Not a single time.

It should have, but it didn't.

I know now what he saw and why that former scientific doctor and Autonomous Emperor...decided to make a triumvarate; and how I love to say that. It is so baffling to think of a single being as a division of three, but so it is, I assure you as I now stand with my nodes connected to you through this story.

His nano-molecular particles covered my body, each atom of this monstrous thing-Emperor a living, breathing piece of metal and flesh, corroded by the millions of years..yes, years, I know what those are now, burning into my body.

I don't know what my poor friend Nami saw, but he knows now that all is well with what has happened.

I suppose you could say I melted or melded - I felt the blood and I felt the transfusion of energy and mass, of real physical particles, not that hard to grab dark matter.

What can I say except that I was folded into the emperor, and he was folded into me.

We were one.

And one saw what the rippling waves of time and space around him implied.
