Bucky was sitting beside a giant machine, rubbing his metal hand and human hand together. When Steve and I had come to the door, Steve had motioned to Sam to give us some space.

Sam hadn't been to keen on that. He didn't want me to be alone and he had voiced that quite avidly.

"Sam, you know I can break your neck without touching you right?" He narrowed his eyes before moving out of my way but grabbed my arm as I walked past.

"Just be careful, okay?" His eyes were sincere and I knew he meant well but I wasn't letting him stop me from talking to Bucky.

"I always am, Sam. You don't need to worry." Letting my arm go, I walked to the entrance of the door and looked in.

Bucky was sitting there rubbing his hands together, his head hanging and I heard him sigh. I almost forgot how to use my words to see him so close.

"Buck?" He froze, hands mid rub. He looked up and his eyes met mine, guarded but full of relief.

"Olivia?" I almost started to cry but I held back my tears.

"Which Bucky are you?" He chuckled.

"You're just like Steve..." He mumbled. "Your dad disappeared to join the Scots in the war. You were the most terrifying girl in Brooklyn and you once sent me on my ass for teasing you about eating to much on Christmas Day when you are dinner with my family." A smile cracked on my face and I could to help but run and leap at him, arms wrapped around his neck and head buried in the crook of his neck.

"It's you." I whispered and Bucky hugged me back tightly but gently, not wanting to hurt me.

"I told you I'd always come back."

"Which was are you going to go?" I asked Steve. He threw me a grim look and I knew where he was going, the play shield banging against his thigh.

"I'm going to go find Bucky."
"Let me help."
"Livve, I need you to get these guys out with as much damage as possible." As he ran past, he broke open a door and went straight down, leaving me with a two free cells worth of men, their thoughts all resonating with the same thought.

"Yes, I am a woman. Yes, I an kick your butts. No, I'm not afraid of Hitler. Or war. Or using a gun." I summed up an they all looked at me stunned but didn't question it.

"How are we going to get the rest of them out?"
"Easily." I closed my eyes and felt around for the latches on the cages and when I had a feel for all of them (and I could hear quiet whispers of amazement from the men) I closed my fingers and pulled them in, the doors swinging open and latches breaking off loudly.

"Holy crapballs."
"How did you do that?"
"It's witchcraft!"
"She saved us!" I rolled my eyes and turned around to face all of them.

"Alright, boys. Cap has told us to do something so we gotta do it." I mentally slapped myself. Surely I could've said it better than that.

"Okay. Let's do this." The guy with the bowler hat and moustache said and winked at me with a smile. Thank the heavens above.

The men ran around like a pack, as though moving with one thought.

Protect the girl.

"Oh hell no." I growled and lifted myself off the ground so that I was above them and then teleported in front of them and ran, the leading runners looked slightly shocked but they didn't complain. There were some chuckled and said something about never oppressing a tiny American woman.

"I'm half Scottish, thank you very much and yes, I do not appreciate being oppressed." A Hydra guard posse came out in front of us and I punched the first one and used him as a bowling ball before teleporting up high and landing on one of the ones who didn't fall and got my thighs around his head and twisted, smashing his head against the ground and rolled to my feet.

"Damn..."
"And that's how you do it." I dusted my hands and looked around.

"Ah. Good. This'll work."

We were out of there in an hour, destroying the place completely. I teleported straight back to base and saw the General immediately and collapsed before I could tell him anything. Turns out that I looked like a pile of cow poop.

But I had perfect timing. I came too just as people started yelling and through the gates came Steve with the enter 109th right behind him, a few of them looking like crap.

"Steve!" I yelled, not noticing Bucky beside him. Steve looked all over for the source if my voice and smiled when he saw me, blue eyes gleaming. I got up (I was sitting on the stairs), slipped as I ran, regained my balance and launched myself into his arms, hugging him tightly.

"You did it."
"We did it."
"Liv?" I turned my head and focused on Bucky and felt my heart flutter and my smile widened.

"Buck!" I let go of Steve and hugged Bucky, hearing him chuckle.

"I didn't see you as an army gal."
"I did tell you I'd take care of Steve."
"Woman of your word."
"Always." Bucky kissed my cheek and hugged me tightly, burying his head in my hair as the soldiers around us congratulated each other and Steve and looked for their friends.

"I told you I would always come back." He whispered.

I held tightly as I began to shake, tears welling.

"You aren't going to kill me are you?" I pulled back and wiped the forming tears. He cupped my face and pressed his forehead to mine.

"That's the other guy and he's not here." I closed my eyes and revealed in the realness of him.

"Are you okay? Alive?"
"I'm fine. Since DC and a little bit of research brought forth my memories." I sniffed and laughed.

"I'm glad. I missed you."
"I missed you too." There was a pause before I asked him the question plaguing my mind.

"Did you know what you were doing?"
"No. Yes. I was like a viewer in my own mind, put to the side and with no ability to stop myself."
"So when that psychologist..."
"I couldn't do anything."
"Oh, Buck..." I kissed his forehead and hugged him, heart pounding in my chest.

"Liv, we need to go to Germany."
"What?"
"Germany. We need to go." Steve and Sam chose this time to come in and I looked over at them.

"We apparently need to go to Germany." Steve raised an eyebrow and I shrugged, turning back to Bucky who then delved into why we needed to go to Germany.
