"Some are born great, some achieve greatness and others have greatness thrust upon them. You? You just achieved ultimate idiot." ~ Olivia Stone, Target Heart

*******************************************

I swear Steve had a death wish. Not only is he not signing the accords (okay, Sam and I weren't either but that's not the point), but he's also hanging around the UN building waiting for something to happen.

Okay, maybe a death wish was over exaggerating it but I swear he was up to something.

"Seriously? So instead of being normal people and mourning our friends death, we're going to stalk the UN and watch to make sure nothing happens? That isn't creepy at all." I sat in the bar and mixed my drink sub concisely. I didn't even know what drink number I was up to. All I know is that it wouldn't affect me.

"We have friends in there. I want them to be safe." I rolled my eyes and downed my drink before calling the bar tender to get me another. She eyed me warily.

"Haven't you had enough?" I looked at her and sighed.

"Sweetie, if I had drunk enough, I would be intoxicated." She thought about that for a moment and poured me another drink.

"You're Gem Stone, aren't you?" I gave her a thumbs up.

"Well done. You got it right." She grinned.

"I'm a huge fan. Well, of all the Avengers but you... You were like my role model when I was younger." She gushed.

"What's your name?"
"Corinne Thorn."
"Well Corinne, you can call me Olivia." She grinned wider, almost looking like she was going to faint.

"If I can ask, why are you drinking so much?"
"Trying to forget the fact that one friend is being an idiot, the other is dead and that the other is off on a grand adventure somewhere."
"I can hear you, Liv."
"You know what, Steve? Here's a fantastic quote that I think concerns you right now. Some are born great. Some achieve greatness and others have greatness thrust upon them. You? You just achieves ultimate idiot." The line went silent and I looked back at Corinne who frowned. I pointed at my ear and she made an O with her mouth.

"If you were able to get drunk, I'd consider Sam throwing you over his shoulder and taking you home. Unfortunately, you can't get drunk."
Thanks for that moron. I sent him telepathically and I knew he was laughing.

"Was that Captain America?"
"Sure was. Making stupid decisions since... Well, since the first time I met him." I scoffed and downed the drink again. Corinne poured another, something that was stronger than the last drink.

"Is that going to kill my brain?" I asked when she handed it to me. She shook her head.

"I'm not sure anything can kill your brain, Olivia. Your a super solider."
"Not all super soldiers are impenetrable." Corinne looked around before leaning across the bench.

"I need some advice."
"About what?" I winced as the drink burned my tongue. Wasn't as bad as Thor's two thousand year old drink but it was close.

"A guy." I looked at Corinne and laughed.

"Your sitting across from an 100 year old, an avenger, a super solider. I have all the latest goss about the Avengers and you want to ask me about a guy? Smart move, kid." She looked at taken back that I was approving of her question.

"About a guy is that you should never wait for Prince Charming. You should go live your life and you'll find. He's probably stuck in a tree or busy beating up your friends bullies." I saddened when I said that and pushed my glass away, slouching. My black jacket warmed my back from the sun.

"You speak from experience."
"Yeah. But now my Prince Charming is somewhere with 1/8th of a shining armour and is brainwashed." My heart throbbed.

Corinne went to open her mouth to say something when my glass began to shake. All the bottles in the pub rattled and I looked behind me, straight at Sam.

What's going on? He shrugged but his dark skin was pale.

Seeing a TV in the corner, I pressed the button to turn it on and turned the volume up, Corinne watching in awe with pale eyes as I worked my magic.

"The building where the Sokivia Accords is being signed has just been attacked. Government officials are trying to find the source of the bombing, the bomber and are trying to get in to help the injured."

"One death, King T'Chucka has been confirmed. He leaves a son, Prince T'Challa as his successor." Sam came up beside me.

"Either someone really wants that Accords not signed or someone really wants to piss everyone off." Corinne looked slightly shaken before she left us, going straight to her cellphone.

"Reports of the Winter Solider is being spread by the CIA has just been announced. The Winter Solider, or James Buchanan Barnes, has been spotted be security cameras to have set the bomb." I looked back up at the news, my ears only heard Buckys name and his face came on the screen.

It was an old photo. Taken at the army. My heart soared to see his face. But the picture was followed by the grainy grey footage from the camera.

"Steve..."
"I'm about to talk to Nat. I want you to talk to her in person. Sam, stay at the bar."
"Yessir. Corinne!?" She turned around and looked at me her eyes wide when I called her by name.

"Charge my tab to Tony Starks account. Sam will give you the details." And with that, I teleported. With the popping of my ears being instantaneous and me arriving right in front of the UN building being quick, I hurried over to Natasha who was on the phone.

I'm here. I told Steve and Natasha hung up.

"Nat!" I ran up to her, freezing her in place.

"Don't get involved, Olivia. This isn't your fight." I stopped in my tracks, watching my friend regard me with a wall of steel around her. This wasn't going to go to plan.

"You know I can't." Natasha scoffed.

"You're just like Steve. You can't let your past go!"
"How do you expect me to let the man I love slip through my fingers like Bruce slipped through yours?" I snapped without thinking. It took me a moment to realise what I had just said and I saw Natasha crossed her arms, stance now in defensive.

"Go ahead. Punch your way out of this then. I know you love him. I've seen your face when he's mentioned. I saw your face when he was alive. But this is different."
"And I will kill him." I turned around and clenched my fists.

"Your highness." I spat. T'Challa, king of Wakanda stood behind me.

"You'll have to kill me first."
"Stand down, Olivia!" Steve's voice commanded. I growled and walked away, holding myself back from punching Natasha.

"We have information on Bucky."
Where are you?
"With Sam at the bar you were just at. Sharon gave what they had."
You mean copies.
"At least it's something."
Where?

Steve told me the address. I could tell he was reluctant to do so. But it didn't stop me.
