I sat at the window and looked out on the Wakandan forest, eyes trailing a flock of colourful birds as they flew up into the sky, past the giant panther statue that guarded the secret facility that T'Challa had us at.

Behind me, Bucky was in his cryo chamber, a small smile on his frozen face. I always tried to be near by but I couldn't always be.

Steve was standing behind me as well, hands on the handles of my wheelchair, looking down on me. I could feel his gaze on me.

"Stop looking at me like that, Steve." I turned my head to look up at him and he rolled his eyes.

"Sometimes I still think you have the ability to read minds."
"I don't need that to know what you're doing. How'd that letter go to Tony?"
"Well, Tony Stank should be receiving a parcel soon so..." I chuckled and smoothed out the blanket that was warming my legs.

We stayed there for a while before T'Challa came and told Steve that the plane was ready to take him to the Raft.

"Get them here. Actually, return Lang and Barton to their homes. Then bring Sam and Wanda home." Steve bent down and hugged me, a small smile on his face.

"I'll see you soon, Livvie."
"See ya later, Cap." He stood up, shook his head and turned around and left, leaving me with T'Challa, the docs and Bucky.

"He cares for you, you know?" T'Challa turned his kind gaze to me and I smiled.

"I know. But sometimes he needs to stop and care for himself. Thanks, by the way."
"For what?"
"Getting him out so that we can get this over with." T'Challa bowed his head and came over and pushed my wheelchair in front of him, getting bows and polite head nods from the doctors as we went to a separate room with a bunch of specialist doctors.

Pulling the blanket off my legs, I stood up and wobbled a bit before falling back down into my chair. T'Challa and one of the other doctors came an put my arms around their shoulders and then placed me in the familiar metal box that I had gone in just under a hundred years ago.

"Do you think this will reactivate the cells?" I asked and the doctor nodded.

"With time and the right equipment, we were able to scientifically develop a serum that will reactivate the cells Zemo rendered useless with his serum." I nodded my head but didn't understand a single thing that was being said.

"All I heard was reactivate the cells." "It will work, if that's all you care to hear." The doctor smiled at my lack of understanding.

"Well then. Let's get this party on the bus." T'Challa raised an eyebrow at me and I shrugged but remained still as they went through the process of strapping me in again.

Unlike the first serum with was blue and unlike the serum which took away my gifts (but not my increased healing and speed) which was purple, this one was green and I couldn't help but be nervous.

"We'll see you on the other side. Hopefully." T'Challa said and I nodded and the little pads clamped down on my arms and the doors closed, allowing the new serum to flow through my body.

And then I began to scream.
