Third Person POV
Wakanda:

Bucky sat on the bed and smiled. Free. Well, almost free.

Steve watched his friend and felt a little piece of him come back. Even though Bucky was missing his arm (again) and Olivia was in a coma, he had some of his old life as the little guy back.

"How is she?"
"Still in a coma. The damage Stark did to her was incomprehensible and even though she still has the incredible accelerate healing from the super solider serum, the antiserum Zemo gave her that took away her powers and slowed down the healing process. But the doctors here managed to restore her as best as they can and her body should complete the healing process." Bucky nodded and rolled his shoulders back and looked at the clear tube that was in front of him.

"Are you sure about this?"
"I can't trust my own mind. So until they figure out away to get this stuff out of my head, I think going back under is best the best thing. For everyone."
"You'll hurt her by doing this."
"But she'll understand." Bucky looked at the door, longing to go out to Olivia and be with her. Just to talk to her. Hold her. Tell her how much he loved her.

"You should go see her, y'know."
"Really?"
"Really. She'd want to see you."
"She's in a coma, Steve."
"She is a... Was a telepathic. MRIs have shown increased brain activity since she slipped into the coma which would could mean anything at this point." Bucky thought about this and got up, frowning but the remembering the loss of his metal arm.

The doctors moved away from her room when Bucky came in. It was like they knew he wanted to be alone.

She looked so peaceful. The cuts and bruises on her face seemed to be hidden by her beauty that shone through. Bucky laughed as he remembered how adamant Olivia was about how she wasn't pretty. He remembered how she kissed him before they went up against Stark as a team. He smiled.

"Oh Liv. I wish you were here. You'd tell me I was being an asshat or something. Then you'd be encouraging of me icing myself." Bucky sat down on the bed and placed his human hand around one of her still hands and squeezed, lifting it up and kissing it.

"I regret all that time I spent with all those other girls. I think in a way I was trying to get a reaction from you. Steve was always telling me that I was hurting you but I never saw it. You're just that strong." The slow beeping of the heart machine went off above Olivia's head. Bucky put her hand down and moved a piece of hair that was in her face.

"I wish you would just wake up so that I could say everything I've always wanted to say to you but I know that won't be happening so I'm just going to talk." He looked at the screen that showed her brain activity and it was showing what was considered her 'normal'.

"I love you, Olivia Stone. I always have. Even when the solider part of me took over you were always there in the very back of my mind, keeping me sane when I wasn't being controlled." Bucky felt his eyes well up, finally being able to tell her what he wanted to tell her forever.

"Please wake up. Please be here when I'm unfrozen. Yes, Steve will be there but I don't want to be somewhere where you aren't. From now on. So please, Olivia. Please." Bucky leaned down and pressed his lips to Olivia's, heart pounding in his chest.

When he pulled away, he kissed her forehead and got up, listening to her gentle breathing before he made for the door.

He didn't hear when the heart monitor beeping changed. He didn't hear her breathing pick up. But when he did hear was her when she said his name.

"Bucky." It was almost like a breath but he heard it. He turned around to look at her and she was looking at him, eyes fluttering and mouth open.

"Liv..." He was back at her bedside in seconds, stroking her hair with his hand. He smiled at her and she managed a weak smile.

"Did you mean it?" Her voice was no higher than a whisper, her voice breaking and breath hitching in her throat. Bucky nodded.

"You have no idea how long I have waited to hear you say that." She laughed lightly. Her wide eyes found Buckys and they seemed to be slowly being filled with sleep, the time between her coma and her wakeness running out.

"I love you too." Buckys heart pounded in his chest and brought his lips to hers, feeling Olivia's immediate response.

It wasn't needy and it wasn't a goodbye. It was a first kiss for them that was a 'see you soon' kiss and Bucky believed it. Unlike their first first kiss when they were under the pressure of battle, that is. When he pulled away and looked at the face of the girl who had held his heart for over a hundred years, he knew that when he woke up again, she would be there.

She would always be there.

Authors Note: Shabangerang! It's done..

Actually I just need to publish the Epilogue and then it's done..

Thank you you beauts for sticking it out with me. I feel as if it got really crappy near the end because I was exhausted with school but to you who voted and commented, thank you. I mean it.
