We're standing right outside his door and I'm having a panic attack!!! But he smiles at me reasurringy and opens the door. His house is a two story house, white with a beautiful garden and a white wooden fence around. Flowers and trees. and it continued on the back.

As we walked in the front door and he closed it behind us he called. "We're here!" And a soft melodic voice called "In the living room, dear!" My guess that's his Mom. He pulled me towards to what I guessed is the living room. Yup, I'm feeling very smart right now!

His house is really nice, the wall in the hallway was a soft creme color and there were pictures on the walls but I didn't notice them right now. We walked into the living room. More like a small apartment I would say but anyway. If that's what they call a living room I won't spoil them the fantasy. A big creme couch with a light blue throw blanket and small pillows in those complections and two armchairs like that. A large coffee table in the middle in dark wood, a big flat screen with all the tchnology for it nowadays on the wall, while on the other side behind the couch were the doors that led to the garden. Wow!

   Now.

In one of the armchairs a man was sitting, he had a nice friendly smile, he had the same hair as Alex and kind blue eyes. Similar to Alex. And on the couch two women were sitted. A blonde lean one with a happy smile and kind blue eyes. Her smile more similar to Alex's. Next to her a teenage girl was sitting, with brown hair, blue eyes and a kind of teasing and kind smile and she was really pretty too. Same goes for the woman and the man. Or should I say, their parents?

"Hello! You must be Iris Stewart. Alex has told us a lot of things about you!" the woman said getting up and coming to me and hugged me tightly. "I'm Lillian Thorne. His Mom and I'm so happy to finally meet you!" she told me as she released. "It's nice to meet you, too, Mrs. Thorne." I said with a shy smile. The man rose from his seat and came to us, he placed one arm around his wife's waist and extended the other to me with a kind and reasurring smile. "Hello there, Iris. I'm Lucas Thorne, his Dad. And I'm also delighted to finally meet you. You're a really beautiful just as Alex said." He said as I shook his hand. "Thank you, Mr. Thorne." I said shyly with a small smile. And then I saw the girl bounding to us, got between her parents separeting them with a mischivious glint in her eyes-similar to the one Alex usually gets.

"And I'm his little sister Kate. Welcome and I'm happy to meet you at last as well. Any dirty laudry on my big bro you want to discover, just give me a call." she told me with a wink as she released my hand. She caused me to giggle and her Mom to roll her eyes while her Dad smiled knowingly and I felt Alex tense and I also heard a small groan escape him under his breath. "I'll keep that in mind. Thanks." I said. "Let's sit down. Dinner is almost ready." Mrs. Thorne said happily.

Alex and Mr. Thorne sat down on the armchairs and I was 'forced' to sit between his Mom and sister. I shot him a glare and he smiled innocently at me. Innocent.... Yeah, right!

Mrs. Thorne turned to me with a happy smile. "Well, Iris. Alex said you're still finishing  High School. What would you like to study afterwards if you want that is?" she asked me kindly.

"Well, I'm not quite sure yet. Sometimes I want Marketing and sometimes I want to be a journalist. I just know the College I'll go to. It's NW." I said truthfully.

Her smile widened and brightened-if that was possible! "You'll go to the same College as Alex?" she asked me hopefully. "That's the plan." I answered blushing for some reason.

Without realising it I was suffocated in a hug from Mrs. Thorne. "Mom!" I heard Alex and then Mrs. Thorne released me with a sorry and blush as her husband and daughter laughed and Alex was kneeling in front of us looking worried. I sucked in a breath I hadn't realised I needed.

"You ok?" he asked me. I simply nodded. "I'm so sorry, sweetheart. When I get excited I lose control." Mrs. Thorne told me smiling apologetically. I smiled reassuringly at her.

She would get along fine with my Mom! "That's ok. I'm used to these kind of thing from my own Mother. Don't worry." I said honestly.

This caused her to giggle. "I'm sure I'll like your Mom." she told me. "And she'll like you. You'll be best friends." I said.

Dinner passed in a blur. Mrs. Thorne is an amazing cook! Kate was fun and Mr. Thorne was serious yet hilarious at the same time.

They, of course, embarrassed Alex. His Mom with baby pictures and stories. Kate with stories and his Dad with comments. They liked me and I liked them. The Thorne family sure is very nice and friendly. At some point Alex showed me his room. It was a simple boys room. There were boxes around with some of his stuff and suitcases with clothes in them.

In a box there were tropheys. He used to play basketball and be in self defense sort of thing. Also with the mechanic stuff and he had come second place in that. Yup, he's good with stuff.

When I got home-of course he walked me to the door and only when he heard me lock he walked away-I couldn't help but smile like a crazy person. I had that smile for quite sometime on my face today. Oh, well. This was fun. Grandma was sleeping already.

I slept immediately, after I had placed the three pictures his Mom gave me in my favorite book.
