Chapter 11

     In the morning I woke up by my cell ringing-non-stop, at that. I groaned and answered. "Yes?" I said sleepily. "Good morning to you too, Sunshine!" Alex's happy voice said and then he chuckled. My heart did a flip-What the....? "Good morning." I said as I sat up and rubbed my eyes. "I arranged it. My parents expect you all for lunch. Ok?" he told me. I yawned and said. "Yeah..." I said. "Ok. I'm going to let you wake up. Talk to you later, Sunshine!" he said, "Bye." I said as I streched. He chuckled as he hung up.

    I did my morning routine and then got down to the kitchen. I had put Logan, Dad and Grandma on the plan about lunch with Alex's parents.

   In breakfast we just talked and teased each other. Or more like Dad and Logan started the fire of a fight and Mom, Grandma and me fell for it... Every time, like we always do! Oh, well...

      When it was close to lunch time we all decided to go out for a walk, Mom didn't really want to but Dad convinced her. We headed for Alex's house. When we were close I texted him to let him know and as we passed in front of it he opened the door.

     "Hello! How are you?" he yelled. We all answered and that's when his Mom appeared frome behind him and asked him "Who are you talking to, Sweetie? Oh, hello, Iris!" Mrs. Thorne said and then she saw the rest of them when my Mom and Mrs. Thorne looked at each other they both froze.

    "Oh. My. God!" they both said at the same time with wide eyes. It was pretty funny if you ask me. Mr. Thorne and Kate had come behind her as well. Then they hugged each other. And I really thought that they would suffocate one another. It was pretty funny.

   Well, except the fact they started crying. Mr. Thorne invited us in and he and my Dad worked together to separate my Mom with Mrs. Thorne to get them in the house. We all sat in the living room as Mom and Mrs. Thorne talked to catch up. Grandma and I  talked with Kate, Mr. Thorne, my Dad, Logan and Alex talked about sports.

   Soon it was time for lunch. Me, Kate, Grandma, Mrs Thorne and my Mom served lunch and as we ate we all talked with each other and was really nice and fun.

   We stayed for dinner too. Mom and Mrs. Thorne talked and talked and still weren't done. It was crazy. But after dinner it was time for us to go. Well, now Mrs. Thorne and Mom have plans and all. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to bring them together after all. Oh, welll.... Too late now!!!

 I let Amy and Jennie know and they laughed. Also, I texted with Sam. He's coming back the same day we'll be back to Chicago too. Oh, well... I just hope he'll take it nicely when we break up...

  Besides my friends will be here soon and so will Alex's friend.

And then I'll have the difficult task to break up with Sam and hold whatever feelings I might have for Alex away. There's no way I'll show anything or say anything since we're only friends and I don't want to lose him as a friend.
