Chapter 12

          Jennie and Amy are coming!!! Dad went to pick them up with Logan. Why I didn't go with them?! Well, in my Dad's words "With three screaming and jumping girls they'll think that either I'm kidnapping you or that I want to kill you. So, you better stay here where the screaming part will only damage our ear drums." Yes, I know. I have a very considarate Father.

     Also, Nate Knight is coming today. Now, you may wonder who that is, well. He's Alex's best friend. I'm waiting behind the door and when Dad's pulls up the driveway I run out just like Amy and Jennie do and we do a group hug screaming and jumping while Logan and Dad carry their bags, laughing.

    When we finally went inside and crashed to my room talking and laughing the whole time. They went into details about their vacations and I did too.

    Then silence. They both turned and looked at me with raised eyebrows and smirks. "Now...." Amy started. "Start talking!" Jennie demanded. "About Alex!" They yelled together!!! "Oh, I want to know, too!" My Mom chirped in bursting through the door.

      I slumped my shoulders defeated. They are three and I am one. "I want, too!" Grandma said coming in, too with a tray with food. Great! Four against one! Life is so unfair!!!

   "What?!" I asked blushing. "Aww! How cute! My little girl is blushing!" my Mom cooed. Grandma and my two traitors of friends snickered. "Anyway. Start from the beggining to the end. With details." Jennie said. I sighed and I started talking and telling them everything from the very beggining.

   When I finished they had awestruck eyes and sighed dreamily. Even my Grandma and Mom! Oh, come on! It's not like I told them a fairytale! I just told them how we met and the converations we had.

    And the incidents about Nicky and Keith.

           Later, Mom and Grandma left and we talked some more about Alex. They can't wait t meet him and I told them that his friend will be here, as well. But well, Amy always had a crush on my brother so, she's out. As for Jennie....? Well, I don't really know to be honest. Sam will be back in a couple of days. I'm glad to see him...

     We are friends first and foremost and then boyfriend and girlfriend and I hope that when I tell him I want to break up that we will remain friends. He is a great guy... Honestly. Even though my family doesn't really like him. Well, mostly they don't like him because he is not the right one for me.... Whatever that means.Ugh!

      Anyway. Somehow we all fell asleep on my bed and we woke up and we could barely move our legs and hands but we just laughed. We were in awkward positions.

   Let's say, my left leg was over Jennie's legs and my right under Amy's, my left arm was in a weird angle at my side as for the right one was under Amy's back.

    In the mean time, Amy's right leg and arm were slung over my bed to the floor, her head under my pillows and her legs covered my right one.

    Jennie now, her left hand was under her back and her left leg to the floor, my leg over hers that were tangled together with my sheets and her other arm under my pillows.

 I know... Even our sleep was weird! Ha ha!

     As we were all having breakfast down to the kitchen and Amy was stealing glances to Logan and surprisingly enough Logan stole glances to Amy! Are they finally getting together?! I'm sick of their love/hate/friends/little sister-big brother/best friend's brother-little sister's best friend relationship. I know. They are weird, complicated and stupid but I love them anyway...

    Jennie was talking with my Dad and Mom and Grandma argued as I watched Amy and Logan like a hawk! Then my cell phone bipped. I had a text message, From Alex!

  "Good morning, Sunshine. Nate & I head out 2 the beach. Want to join us. My sis will be there 2."  he wrote. I smiled like a crazy person. "Good morning, tall person. Me and my friends would love 2. Great! I can't wait 2 see Kate! :-)"   I said back.

   TALL PERSON?! WHAT THE HECK AM I THINKING?!?! Or more speciafically WHY AREN'T I THINKING?!?!

   I groaned. Thankfully no one noticed... Well, only my Dad and Grandma. And Mom and Logan, apparently. Ugh! Who am I kidding?! They all noticed! I stabbed my pancakes with my fork with unnecessary force.

   My cell bipped again and I checked his answer. " ;-p Tall person?!?! It's not my fault u r short, Sunshine! Anyway. Anytime u want join us. Oh! And u will pay for what u said. Only Kate?! Really?! That hurts my feelings, you know!" he said.

     Without realizing it I started giggling and then laughing full force. He is incredible. They all looked at me like I had completely lost my mind.

   What mind?!?!

    I answered him back. "I am NOT short! You are just freakishly tall! You are a freak of nature! I'm normal!" I said and waited.

   "Right....Ok. Whatever makes u sleep at night, sweetheart. BUT if I am a freak of nature that means that your Dad and bro are as well. ;-)" he said. "We'll continue this face 2 face, Mister. We're getting ready." I said back. "More like face 2 chest but don't worry I'll lift u up! ;-P" he told me. I narrowed my eyes to my screen. Then I looked up and everyone was looking at me like I was an experiment. I rolled my eyes. "Amy, Jennie, Logan. Get ready. We're going to the beach. Alex, Kate and his friend Nate wait for us." I said and picked up my plate and run to get ready.

 Ha! You snooze you loose!

   I was ready before the other three and finally we headed to the beach. I can't wait to see Amy's and Jennie's reactions to Alex and I can't wait to meet this Nate guy.

   I could see Kate now but not Alex or this mystery friend of his, Nate.... Where are they?!

 And then I saw him with that other blonde guy coming from the ice cream parlor.... He is so handsome.... And so is his friend. Nice body, blonde and green eyes-that I knew from the pictures, too.

  Oh, I can't wait to see how my friends will react.... To both of them... I mean Nate is cute but nothing like Alex....

 Ugh! Get a grip, Iris!
