Afraid

"Oh... Did I not sleep well last night? There's just something wrong with me." You shake your head trying to stay awake.

yeah... Its just... Nothing. Nothing ...

Kaneki worries.

You smile at him so he dosen't worry much but it seems it didn't worked.

"Are you okay now?" You ask as you walk the other direction.

"Yeah.. I just had a nightmare with a background like that..." Kaneki says as he gets quieter.

"Oh, it's fine, I understand." You smile at him.

Kaneki blushes.

As you walk, you see someone there.

As the shadow comes closer, Kaneki steps in front of you like he wants to protect you.

"Hi Kaneki"

"Come out." Kaneki says.

"Yo!" Hide comes out of a dark passage way.

"Hide....You..." Kaneki stares at him.

"Yo, I just wanted to say, I'm sorry. You know, everything." Hide looks down.

"Okay.." Kaneki mumbles.

"You know what? Congrats to you [ y / n ] - chan and Kaneki, you understand me. Right?" Hide asks.

Kaneki looks away.

"My dream... I just wanted us to last forever.... together... But I realized, even though I became a ghoul like you, nothing really changed" Hide crys.

"Yo, don't cry" Kaneki hugs Hide.

"Do you forgive me?" Hide asks.

"Yes." Kaneki replies.

You look at them like seeing the best friends in the world.

You smile.

"So what you doing out here?" Hide asks wiping his tears.

"You know~" Kaneki gives Hide a friendly

"Oh no Kaneki~~~~" Hide laughs like he understands.

"Damn Kaneki, she is too hot for you!" Hide laughs.

You blush.

"Hey!!" Kaneki laughs.

All of you laugh.

It's like the best day of your life.

You hear your name. Whispers behind you.

You look back.

That bright light is there again.

"Kaneki! You see it? I'm not weird! Like really!" You tap on Kaneki's shoulders.

"[ Y / n ] - chan, you are scarring me. Stop this prank." Kaneki tells you.

"No really! I even heard my name! Wait, I'll stand next to it." You walk to the light.

"Here, On the right side of me."You point.

"[ Y / n ] - chan, it's not funny." Hide tells you too.

You get scared. You never felt this scared before, you thought there is nothing to be afraid of when you are a ghoul.

"Im sorry." You tell Kaneki and Hide

They nod.

You slowly put your hands around the light.

As it shines bright, you close your eyes.

Nothing happened.

"Wtf? Did you see that?" You ask Kaneki and Hide.

"Yeah totally" Hide says laughing.
"I'm serious." You tell Hide.

"Then no." Hide becomes serious too.

You just run to Kaneki and holds his hands.

"Im done, let's just go." You tell Kaneki.

"Oh ~ Kaneki~~~~♡" Hide tells Kaneki disgustly.

"Stop it Hide! You are weird!" Kaneki freaks out.

All of you laugh.

-Time pasts -

You arrive home after going out.

As you guys get ready for bed, Kaneki feels unconftable.

"Im going to head ti the balcony for sec." Kaneki tells you as he heads upstairs.

You just look at him.

5 minutes past and Kaneki hasn't come down yet.

You felt worried as you head up stairs to the balcony.

Then you see Kaneki.

Trying to commit

Suicide.

"Kaneki!" You yell as he jumps off the balcony. Bricks fall off on top of him. Seems like he planed everything.

"Kaneki!!" You run down stairs and head out the yard. It was too late.

"No, I don't know what is wrong with you. I'm going with you." You head upstairs.

You feel so scared as you look down with heavy meterials ready.

"Im always going with you Kaneki. I don't know why you did this but see you soon."

Season 2 finished.
