Chapter 16: Kira's Song

Toby's POV

We walk in the venue and I can see Jack giving Caitlin a piggyback around the stage, Michael and Calum talking on the seats in the audience, I don't know where the others are but we can wait. I see Riley shaking and I grab his hand. "Don't worry, they are all welcoming and accepting." I say to reassure him. Even though it's true.

Twenty minutes later and everyone has turned up.
"Guys, can I talk to you all for a sec?" I ask, everyone comes over, including the All Time Low guys, which makes me even more nervous. "This is Riley, he is my boyfriend." I announce pulling Riley closer to me, we are both blushing.
"Oh, you're the person he has been obsessed with." Kira says with relief, "I thought it was something bad you wanted to talk to us about, Toby. I was getting worried. And welcome to the family Riley." She gives him a high five and Caitlin goes in for a hug which he returns.

Everyone loves him, they keep telling him embarrassing things about me, but that just makes him giggle. When Riley told them he played piano they all freaked out, especially Ashton.

Luke's POV

They guys and I spent the rest of the day practising the new song, Michael helped me write it too, we practiced in our dressing room as I didn't want Tr33s to hear it yet. It sounds so good, now it has instruments and a tune. I just hope Kira likes it.

Gen's POV

For some reason we go on before 5 Seconds Of Summer today, which is weird as we're used to being introduced, oh well I guess that's the point of a support act, but its fine as the crowd are all hyped after All Time Low's entrance.

[After Tr33s performance]

"That was amazing!" I scream, hugging Ashton, suddenly my chest bursts with pain which makes me vomit. Luckily it doesn't touch Ashton. Then the cleaning staff come over to clean it up.
"Gee, are you okay?" Ashton asks, but there's no time to reply as he has 2 minutes to go on stage. I know why that happened. And it makes me want to cry thinking about it. My ex-boyfriend used to beat me up and he damaged my ribs one night when he was really angry. I sigh and go over join the others to watch 5SOS' performance.

Kira's POV.

Luke asked me to sit at the side of the stage, I'm not sure why, but it brings butterfly's to my stomach. The stage goes dark and I can hear the screams and cheers of the crowd. Luke walks towards the microphone and Michael starts to play a cute little riff on guitar. I haven't heard this song before?

Chills run up my spine and I'm suddenly overwhelmed with emotions, I feel a tear slip down my cheek. This song is about the night we spent on the beach. I can't control my tears now, he wrote this song for me. This is my song.

I love this boy, I just want to run out there and hug him, I don't ever want to lose him. Ever.

"Making all our plans in the Santa Cruz sand that night,

I told myself that I'm never gonna be alright."

He makes that night seem so beautiful and magical. The way he turned it into a song makes me want to curl into a ball and hug one of his hoodies. He starts walking towards me, and I can't stop myself, I'm on my feet, running towards him. We collide in the middle of the stage, I wrap my arms around his neck and he picks me up and spins me around. He steps back, grabs my hand and continues singing, with Micheal harmonising with him.

He stops singing and Michael continues for him. He pulls me close and plants a small kiss on my lips. The audience are going crazy, they shipped us from the beginning. This feels like a dream. After the song I go back stage and break down into tears, I never thought I'd love someone this much.
