Chapter 22: Mark

Morgan's POV

The next day went really quickly. We did a meet and greet in the park with MDE, met loads of cute fans and took some really cool photos. Michael and I were filmed running around the park scaring the younger fans. Calum and Caitlin were climbing the trees and Gen played duck-duck goose with a some fans. It was a really good day.

Gen's POV

Tonight's concert means a lot to the rest of the band as MDE are backstage watching us. I'm excited, don't get me wrong, but my whole body is filled with nerves. L.A. scares me as it's where Mark lives. I avoid coming here as much as possible as it brings back memories of what he did to me. I close my eyes and fight the urge to cry, I get aches from places that used to contain bruises. Mark was my boyfriend, he was very controlling and when things didn't go his way I became his human punching bag. The only people I have told are Caitlin and Kira, I'm not ready for anyone else to know yet.

Ashton's POV

It's an hour 'til we go on stage, we can hear security start to pile everyone into the building. Luke runs over to me and I'm forced on the floor by his body weight, we are then joined by Calum and Michael. "Tonight is gonna be amazing!" Michael screams. They all get off me and I honestly feel like a pancake. Calum sprays himself with his favourite scent and then we start making our way towards the stage.

Gen's POV

After 5SOS have done their set, it's Tr33s turn. Caitlin runs on stage first then is joined by Kira and the rest of us walk on; as soon as I'm on stage I feel at home, jumping and singing with my band makes me feel on top of the world.

Half way through our last song of the night I notice the doors at the back swing open, my heart stops, Mark strolls in with his arms folded and looks me straight in the eyes. I find it hard to finish the song, he won't take his beastly eyes off of me. When the song is finished we all go in for a hug but I'm shaking so much that Caitlin holds me at arms length, "You okay dude?" She asks looking at me with worry, I have no time to reply as we are rushed of stage and the next thing I know we are back at the MDE house.

They all order Chinese and sit down together in the front room to watch Mean Girls. While everyone is distracted I sneak off to the bathroom and check my phone. I have 3 texts and 12 missed calls. All from Mark...
