Saturday, PROM Day...

I woke up with the shimmering shining sun in my eyes. I looked around the room and saw that i was laying next to Shawn. I quietly got out of bed, hoping not to wake Shawn up. I grabbed my phone from the night stand to check the time;

9:30 A.M 

I slipped my phone into my shorts pocket and walked over to my bathroom, Turned on the light, and grabbed my tooth brush and minty tooth paste. I brushed my teeth and gurgled mouth wash, after i was done getting my pearly whites all cleaned I put my hair into a pony tail and tied a black hair tie. And finally i brushed my pony tail and turned off the lights.

I walked out of the bathroom to see Shawn rubbing his eyes and moving his hands around the bed in search for me.

"Baby?" Shawn said in his raspy morning voice

ASDFGHJKL; My ovaries 

"Over here" I giggled

He lifted his head up and looked at me with a smile 

"Good morning." 

"Morning, want some breakfast Hunny?" 

"Yes please."

"Okay, i'll be right back" 

"Wait!"

"Yes?"

"I'm coming" 

"Haha okay, hurry up then."

He got out of bed and walked over to me, he wrapped his arms around my waist as i began walking down the stairs. As we got downstairs, everyone was already at the island with breakfast.

"GOOD MORNING SLEEPY HEADS" Taylor yelled while chuckling

"Morning," I giggled

"Aren't you two cute." Mahogany says.

"Right, isn't she beautiful in the morning and everyday" Shawn replies while kissing my temple

"Ok, let's go eat some yummy breakfast that chef Dallas cooked" Nash said 

"Thanks Cameron, you're the best."

Shawn and I walked over to the empty stools by the island. I sat next to Shawn and Cameron. Everyone was talking while i stayed quiet the whole time enjoying my chocolate chip waffle. Shawn kept on glancing at me, while talking to Matthew. As soon as i saw a glass of orange juice next to my plate, i sipped as fast as i could, not just because i was thirsty. When everyone was finished talking and eating breakfast, i reached for my phone from pocket and got out of my seat. I was texting Aaliyah, Shawn's little sister when warm arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me close. It was Shawn.

"Is everything okay?" 

"Yeah, everything is fine." i lie

"I'll be right back." Shawn said to Matthew and Cameron as they were having a peaceful conversation, they nodded in reply.

Shawn walked me over to the couch and sat down, he pat his thigh and i sat down

"I'm so stressed." 

"I know, it's prom and it's very stressful but it's all worth it in the end, right?" His voice was low as he spoke.

"Right. I Just need to get my hair done.Nails and feet done. Dress picked out. I don't know what to wear, and it's stressing me out. I'm scared i'm gonna fall or trip on my dress and my hair will be ruined and it's gonna rain and i just-" He cut me off 

"Baby girl, calm down alright. everything is gonna be okay, I promise. Trust me on this, Okay?" 

He pulled me into a warm and comforting hug, swaying us back and forth.
