Natalie
We walked into Home Ec. Lane was in our spots I almost charged at that bastard, but Dominick pulled me to another table, where Caleb sat.
"Hey Caleb, how are you?" I asked.
"Good." He answered shyly.
I could feel Lane's eyes on me. It took every bone in my body not to attack him with my bare hands.
We were in the middle of Home Ec when my phone went off. I pulled the vibrating phone out and read the message.
Lizzie's been with me the whole time. No need to be mad. We just needed time. Sorry :)
I don't know weather I should be mad or happy. I slide my phone to Dominick and waited for him to read the message. He leaned into my ear.
"Needed time." He emphasized.
His 'joke' made me laugh harder than I intended to making me put my hand over my mouth.
"Natalie. Would you like to share with the whole class why you're laughing?"
I stopped smiling and told her, "No. I just... I thought... no."
"Then please hush and pay attention." She warned.
I nodded my head and as soon as she turned around I tried really hard not to laugh. I can always count on Dominick to make me feel better.
