Chapter 15

     Lizzie

We stayed in Ryan's room all day watching comedy movies. I really wasn't feeling romance movies ya feel? We were in the middle of, Fat Kids Rule the World, when we heard the door down stairs open.

"Who's here?" I asked Ryan.

He got his phone out and it was three o'clock. We have been here since noon watching comedy movies.

"Great. They're here." Ryan told me as he rolled his eyes and squeezed me a little harder.

"Wait, maybe we should-" I told Ryan removing his arm from behind me.

"No. There is nothing to be ashamed of. Unless you actually don't want to be with me." He replied making our distance further apart.

"I want." I told him as I pulled his arm back around me. He kissed me on the forehead and smiled at me.

"I hope you guys had fun together while we were basically dying of anxiety." Natalie states as she walks in through the door, smiling.

Natalie and Dominick exchange weird face expressions as there eyes see Ryan's arm around me. Natalie then walks over to us and hugs me. Ryan removes his arm from my waist, allowing me to hug Natalie back.

"I hope you're okay. You know Lane only said that shit about you to piss you off, because he couldn't comprehend the fact that someone actually rejected him."

"I know. I'm sorry about acting like a little drama queen and running away from my problems." I told her.

"It's okay. The important thing is you're okay." She smiled at me.

"There's actually something I want to tell you, Natalie."

She looked at me with intense eyes.

"Okay?" She questioned.

She looked in Ryan's direction and then back to me.

"Lane-"

I was interrupted by the sound of Natalie's phone going off. She glances at the screen for a while before saying anything.

"Sorry Liz, it's my mom. She usually never calls unless its an emergency." She explains.

"It's okay." I told her. She nodded, stood up and walked out the door.

"Do you plan on telling her right now?" Ryan asked me.

"She's my best friend, yes." I replied. "I don't want the same thing to happen to her."

"I don't mean to interrupt or anything, but what are you talking about?" Dominick asked. I completely forgot he was in this room.

"Don't worry about it dude, tell you later." A worried expression crossed my face. Would Ryan really tell Dominick? Who am I kidding. Of course he will. They're as close as Natalie and I are and I wouldn't mind. It's just that, I don't want anyone to know. I hadn't plan on telling Ryan any of this. In fact, if I were to be told that one day I would be here, in Ryan's room, telling him about my intimate secrets I would have laughed extremely hard.

"So, what did you guys do all day?" Dominick questioned.

"We watched comedies movies." Ryan answered as he put his arm around me.

"So, are you guys?" Dominick began to ask.

"I don't know are we?" Ryan asked me.

I shrugged. Ryan hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend, so I'm going to take that as a no. I just didn't have the balls to say it.
