Chapter 1

     Natalie

"Natalie Timberlake! Are you finished packing!? Our flight leaves at 5:30 in the morning! We need to get some sleep. It's already 11:43!"

That was my mother. Panicking and yelling like always. If you're wondering why we're packing it's because, this is our fourth time moving in a year. Ever since my dad left us for some other chick, she has been working non-stop. She once told me that working releases stress and it keeps her mind of the fact that dad left us. Personally, I think it does the complete opposite, but whatever, right? Her job consists of moving around the world, every so often. She mainly sells houses everywhere she can get her hands on. You'd actually think constant traveling and the changes of schools are fun and adventurous. Well, they are not. It's a pain in the butt and you never really make "best friends." This time were moving from Chicago to San Fransisco, California. Yay.

"Yes mom, I'm done." I responded.

"Then go to sleep!" She yelled.

I walked out of my room and into the kitchen where my mom was at.

"Mom, chill. Stop worrying and go to sleep." I told her.

"Yeah mom, listen to big foot here." My idiotic brother replied.

"Zach, shut up. No one likes you." I explained, while I punched him in the left arm.

"Speak for yourself" He responded.

"Just get -"

"Shut up! Both of you are driving me insane! Go to sleep, now!" My mom yelled, rudely interrupting what I was going to say.

Zach and I look at her with a weird expression and wide eyed.

"Now!" She yelled again.

I pushed Zach out of my way and ran like hell into my room, followed by Zach. He shuts the door behind him.

"Man, I swear mom gets crazier everyday." He told.

"Big foot, seriously?" I asked annoyed.

He smiles and throws me, Mr. Elephant Ears, my teddy bear. I was five when I came up with the name, okay?

"I was just kidding. You know I love you." He tells me and fakes a grins.

I looked at him annoyed and put my cherry red suitcase on the wooden floor.

"But anyways," He explains while jumping on my bed, "at least California will have a lot of smoking hot babes."

"Yeah, hot smoking babes that don't want you." I backfired.

"Oh yeah, who doesn't want all this? I have irresistible dark green eyes and wavy sex hair." He replied.

"Out. Now." I demanded.

"Someone's P.M.S.ing." He tells.

"Oh my, no. You just so annoying. It's people like you that make people like me, need medication." I explain and rub my forehead.

"You just wish you were me." Zach replied.

"Zach! I'm not in the mood for your bullshit." I snapped.

"Alright, alright. I'm done. You're turning into mom. Crazy and unbearable." He told me.

"It hasn't been easy on mom. Dad left-"

"Don't even call that pig, 'dad.' He doesn't deserve to be called that." He explains while interrupting me.

"Don't call him a pig, Zach." I replied.
