Chapter 7

     Natalie

Bing! Bing! Bing! I pushed the snooze button on my alarm clock. I woke up and changed. I didn't really know what happened with Ryan and Lane last night. It was to early in the morning to care anyway. I did my hair and make up. I went down stairs, into the kitchen to get a cup of coffee. After I microwaved it for 2 minutes The house felt empty. Usually everyone's up by six in the morning. I put my cup of coffee on the table and went upstairs to get my backpack. As I was coming down stairs I peeked into Zach's room. He was still sleeping. I kinda wanted to tell him he's going to be late, but I'll let him figure that out himself. I closed the door and went down stairs. Why wasn't Ryan up yet? He's the one taking me to school. I put my bag on the couch and took out my phone. It was then and there when I noticed it was four thirty-four in he morning. My jaw literally dropped.

"How in the world is it four thirty-four only?!" I yelled at my phone.

I was ticked. It was only four thirty-four in the morning and I was already up! I bet Zach changed my alarm. What was I gunna do now? It's four thirty-five and I have nothing else to do and the worst part is I'm not tired anymore. I turned on the tv and watched the Price is Right for 2 hours straight. It was six o'seven in the morning when I heard someone's door open.

"Hey."

It was Ryan.

"Hi."

"Did you just wake up?" He asked as he sat on the couch diagonal from me.

I was not in the mood to have a conversation with anyone.

"No, Ryan. I woke up at four thirty in the morning and I've been watching the Price is Right for two hours straight and I am starting to feel really weak and tired."

"Oh. Why'd you wake up that early?" He asked.

"Because that's the time my stupid alarm clock went off." I angrily told.

"And you didn't go back to sleep?"

"No! I wasn't tired Ryan!"

"Well, aren't you a sunshine."

He stood up and went into the kitchen.

"I'm sorry. I just... It's not my day okay?"

"Understood." He replied. "Have you eaten?"

"Nope."

"Want something to eat?"

"Yes please."

"Like what?"

"I don't know what are you making?"

"Probably scrambled eggs with bacon."

"Cool, make me a sandwich."

I could here him laughing.

"I'm serious. And add bacon, because now I'm really starving."

"Okay." He replied.

I hear another door open and foot steps coming down the stairs.

"Hey guys, what are you doing?" Linda asked.

"Nothing." I replied.

"Making breakfast." Ryan told.

"That's nice. Ryan you better be making Natalie something." Linda replied.

"Don't worry mom, I'm making her a sandwich." He told her.

His mom just kinda stood there trying to process the fact that his son was in the kitchen making me a sandwich. It was pretty amusing to watch.
