"Okay, this is bull crap. Ryan just texted me saying that Lizzie is at Holly's house, when we clearly saw her at school." I told Dominick.
"Maybe he found her and doesn't want to be disturbed?" He suggested.
"I don't know, but this is pissing me off. Why would he lie to me. Most importantly why would she lie to me." I thought out loud.
"Maybe, they're talking? I don't know. Maybe they fell in love."
I looked off into space, trying to process this through my head.
"Nah, Lizzie would never have the guts to tell Ryan."
"Wait, what?"
Oh my god, I totally didn't realize what I said.
"Has he texted you back yet?" I asked.
"No, but Lizzie likes Ryan?"
I pretended like I was busy on my phone and ignored his questioned.
"Because, Ryan likes Lizzie."
Now this, I didn't ignore.
"Hold up, Lizzie likes Ryan and Ryan likes Lizzie? So now everything makes since. Why didn't you tell me?"
"Why didn't you tell me Lizzie liked Ryan?" He backfired.
"Because I promised I wouldn't tell anyone, your question just threw me off for a bit and I didn't realize what I was saying."
Dominick laughed.
I was shocked, Ryan liked Lizzie and he never told me? I really need to talk some sense into him.
"This is like, so crazy." I told him.
"Yeah, I'm telling you. They're probably together. He probably texted you saying that she was at Holly's so we wouldn't disrupt them."
Dominick had a point. At that moment the bell rang.
"Let's go to Home Ec. We'll catch up with them after school."
"Why can't we ditch? If they ditched why can't we?" I asked him.
"Let's go." He told me as he picked up his stuff.
I groaned in sadness, picked up my stuff, and headed to class.
