Chapter 2
Ryan
As I introduced myself, I came to this girl. She has chocolate brown eyes and hair. Her brother for some reason, didn't seem to of had a first good impression of me. He actually thought I had a 'thing' for his sister. Ha! I mean, she's absolutely pretty and as soon as our hands met, I'm not going to lie, we had a connection. It wasn't a 'love' connection, but the connection you get when you know you've found a friend for life. Other than that, I would never date her. By the way she looked at me, I knew she was thinking the same thing.
"Well, now that everyone has introduced each other, Ryan show Natalie and Zach to there rooms." My mom demanded.
I did as I was told. We walked up the stairs and took a left down the hallway to Zach's room.
"This is your room, Zach." I told him.
His room was navy blue with a King size bed, a bookshelf, an empty dresser and two closets.
"Cool." Zach responded.
"If you need any help just tell me." I replied.
"Alright." He told as he shut the door.
"Your room is the one right across from mine." I told Natalie.
We took a right back down the same hallway and I showed her, her room.
"This one is yours." I explained.
"Pink walls seriously? Do I look like a girly girl?" She replied.
"No, but don't blame it on me. My mom told me to help her paint it pink so, yeah."
She went inside and put her suite cases on the floor.
"Well, if you need anything just ask me." I told.
I began to walk out of the room, but Natalie's voice stopped me.
"Actually, I need you to unpack my things." She replied.
I gave her a 'are you serious' look then asked, "You're kidding right?"
"Nope, you offered so, yeah."
She laid on the bed and I walked into the room.
"I can't believe I'm doing this." I mumbled to myself. "Which one do you want me to unpack first, your majesty?"
"Unpack the orange and red one. Leave the green and purple, I'll do those myself."
"Alright."
I grabbed the red suitcase and placed it on the coffee table. Then I opened it and saw an endless pile of clothes. I groaned to myself as I picked up the first three, neatly folded shirts and put them in the empty dresser.
"So where are you guys from?" I asked.
"More like where aren't we from." She replied.
"What?" I questioned as I went back for more clothes.
"Well you see Ryan, when you have a family like mine you don't really have a place where you're from."
"Oh that's cool. Traveling."
"No, not really."
"Really? I think it would be awesome."
She gave me a flat smile and a thumbs up. That's weird, Natalie does the same thing I do. She does the 'flat smile thumbs up.' I only do that when I have nothing else to talk about.
"So why didn't your dad move with you guys?" I asked trying make conversation again.
"He left us for someone else, about 10 years ago." She responded.
