It had been 2 days since the phone call from Lauren. Every now and then i would get a call from him. He would just breath into the phone and started laughing. The police were trying to track the call but he was never on long enough to get a good read. I don't know why he was taunting me so much. Why didn't he just come after me already?

I tried calling the number Lauren had called from but all I got was a busy tone.

I was cuddling with Sofia when he called again. I hooked up the device and picked up. I needed to keep him on the line for two minutes.

"Hello?" I asked, my voice shaking. He breathed. I was getting so annoyed with him.

"What do you want?" I asked, the anger showing in my tone.

- 30 seconds –

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" was the only response. I wanted to hang up so badly but I couldn't. I needed more time. He kept laughing.

"You know what. Go Fuck Yourself!" I screamed into the phone.

- 1 minute –

"Believe me my dear, I already am" he said as he hung up the phone.

- 1 minute 10 seconds –

"UGH so close!" I yelled rushing to my room and throwing myself onto the bed.

"Camzi?" I heard some say waking me from my nap. I felt someone shake my arm again.

"Camzi, wake up baby" Lauren. My eyes shot open. All I could see was green. Damn I missed those eyes. Lauren kissed me softly before I sat up and wrapped my arms around her, holding on tightly.

"I missed you Lolo, how are you? Are you okay? I asked remembering she had been in the hospital.

"I'm as fit as a fiddle Camz, all back together" she answered smiling. She hugged me tight and rested me on the bed and kissed me, running her hands up and down my sides.

"Baby you just got out of the hospital, we can't do this now" I said trying to push off her attempt at kissing me.

"Camzi I'm fine" she said trying to take my shirt off. I sat up.

"Lauren I said no!" I said pushing her off again looking away.

"Why you don't want me to fuck the straight into you? Show me how much of a sexy little thing you are! HAHAHAHAH" she said, malice in her voice.

My head snapped to look into her usually gentle eyes but the person looking back at me wasn't Lauren anymore. Her eyes were now brown and her long wavy hair was shortening before my eyes. I suddenly realized what was happening. I watched in horror as the girl I loved transformed into the man who haunted my past and my present. I tried to get up to run but I couldn't move.

I felt something vibrating against me. I woke up with a start. Something vibrated again. I grabed my phone and answered not even bothering to hook it up to the tracking thingy.

"Hello Jack" I said not even in the mood for the bullshit.

"Well hello my sexy girl" he said. I could feel the chill go down my spine as I started to sweat.

"What do you want for me, just leave me alone" I said calmly. I had no more energy to give. He didn't give me an answer. He just breathed.

"Just stop calling me" I said about to hang up the phone.

"Camila wait"

"What do you want from me?" I said my voice louder now.

"Know where Lauren is?" he asked.

"I don't know and even if I did I wouldn't tell you. All I know is she's safe from you" Of course I don't hook it up when we have an actual conversation.

"Is she though? Truly?" he asked.

"What do you mean where's Lauren?"

"Hahahaha you might want to call your dogs and check on her hahaha" he said and hung up.

I looked at my phone in shock. His number was flashing on my phone. It didn't say private caller this time. I wrote it down and looked in my call history, dropping my cell as I go.

"DINAH!" I screamed. Seth, Dinah's baby brother started to cry a few rooms away.

"What Mila?" she asked running into the room.

I showed her the paper and my call history.

"Yeah? So it's the same number who is that?" she asked confused.

"This number was the number Jack called me from just now" I said holding up the post-it. "and this is the number Lauren called me from the other day" I said holding up my cell phone.

"But Mila it's the same number ... IT'S THE SAME NUMBER? SHIT!"

I started to cry. Jack had Lauren again. How was this even possible?! I thought as I dialed Rodriguez's phone number.
